    You can’t go wrong with a 243 a friend of mine son shoots one and has never lost a deer he has shot with it. I use a 6mm Remington and I’m really impressed with its performance. I also use a 444 marlin so I hunt with extremes small and fast and big and slow.

    You’re not shooting steel shot you’re shooting copper plated lead shot. you can use a full choke tube.

    I was a member to gave it up even before the crossbow thing. They have done as much harm as good for bow hunting.

    Go for it with the 20ga I use #5 long beard or TSS #7’s in my 870 20ga with a jelly head tube both work good out to 40yds the TSS you can get another 10yds or so.

    No matter how it ends there will be rioting. Also, he will have a built-in appeal he can claim he did not get a fair trial do to all the news coverage and rioting; he can claim the jury was pressured into a guilty verdict. Because if they did not convict there would be rioting in the streets and possible reprisals towards them.

    I use Bushnell’s but 2 of my older ones craped out one won’t keep time or date the other drains the batteries that has a short in it. I saw this A-5 while looking for a Bushnell. It has up to 20mag a pixels and 1080 or 720 on vid color screen 100ft flash and 3 pr setting thought I would give it a try for 60 bucks.

    I just bought a GardePro A3 trail cam off Amazon for $60 has anyone used it before.

    There is one gun law I would like to see. If someone is convicted of a crime using a gun they would also have to serve, a mandatory 10 year prison term in Federal prison after there state term is served.

    I reload so I have all I need for a few years I could use a few more 12ga slugs but I’m still ok.

    Well in the old days you would look under its dress and if there were balls it was a buck no balls a doe. But today just because it has balls and a dick, that buck may identify as a doe or may be TRAN’s. so, I would ask (ax) so you don’t get canceled. One thing I wonder if a buck identifies as a doe can I use my doe tag on it.

    That’s not true most crossbow hunters in this state are also bow hunters. When crossbow gets full inclusion you will have to take the bow hunters course if they have not already taken it.

    Hey just wondering why you need a 10ga for turkeys a 20ga works just fine. As for whining about crossbows though the whole bow season who really gives a crap. I shoot my bow way to good to give it up. I see no real advantage to a crossbow except that its easier to learn how to shoot and that’s not a bad thing. I would rather have someone that’s good with a crossbow in the woods. Then some Nick Knack that shoots their bow once a year and call themselves a bow hunter.

    I’m not giving up my bow. I don’t consider my bow inferior. But I will use a crossbow when hunting in a ground blind. I can see where the cams are on a crossbow always think I’m going to hit the roof or my leg with one of the cams on my bow.

    Seeing I already have had covid. My doctor said I had to wait 90 days before I get a shot. I’m going to go with the J&J shot.

    A crossbow is easier to get good at shooting. But that’s not a bad thing. I would rather see a guy using a crossbow that shoots well. then a guy who brings his bow out 2 weeks before the season, and can’t shoot for crap and calls himself a bow hunter. I wonder how many guys would be in favor of having to qualify with there bow or crossbow every year to get your bow tags. Then see how many bow guys would switch to a crossbow because it’s easier to shoot.
