  2. Hunted Saturday and Sunday shot a nice fat doe on Saturday shaw a lot of deer all doe's and 1 4pt. I know there are more bucks there got them on camera. Going out behind the house tomorrow for a few hours. Then on Thanksgiving with my son who's coming up from NC.
  3. I would check again if I were you
  4. It's only legal if it's a center fire rifle is less than 22cal when a deer season is open. Before sunrise
  5. I don't give a shit. My rifle is going to get transported the way it always has in the back in a case.
  6. I always have a camera in my pack and have gotten some good video. Just can't post them here easily
  7. Just going to shoot my rifles one more time. Just to make sure there dead on. Thicker shorter range I will use the triple 4 longer more open range I'll use the 6.5 creedmor.
  8. Basically you have to follow gun season rules. You have to use regular season tags and DMP'S to shoot doe's. The bow only zones are different you have to read the regulations for that.
  9. I am using a spy point data link on one of my Bushnell's and it seems to be working fine. I have it set to transmit twice a day midnight and noon.
  10. hey can you pick me up 2 cheeseburgers w/Swiss & bacon & a coke
  11. Marines never die they just go to Hell and re-group. My mom use to call them Teenage over sex killers
  12. Hey, hate to say this but I don’t think that’s a dead deer. If your arrow placement on the target is accurate and the angle is to and with penetration of only 7ins or less. The arrow probably missed all the vitals and with bright red blood it looks like a mussel hit. Also, it looks like you may have hit the top of the shoulder. The ribs, backbone and shoulder all come to gather there. That’s not to say the arrow may not of caught the top of one lung but it looks too far forward.
  13. First I would use a rest to take as much shooter error out of your shots on the range. Next I would try something in the 130gr range. Something like Hornady SST or eldx maybe Remington corelocks these are made for deer size game
  14. If I spent 3 grand on a crossbow whether or not it's legal to use in NY would be the least of my worries. I would be looking for a new place to live.
  15. Last deer I shot was a trotting at 70yds with a Nosler 95gr IB hit ribs going in and out dropped in it's tracks
  16. i've used my 6mm rem. and have killed every deer i've shot with it, little tracking needed
  17. no co. makes a rifle in that cal. anymore, so ammo is far and few in-between
  18. I always run my cam's in video mode. The only time I don't is in winter. I also keep one in my pack and if I get a deer I put the camera on the gut pile in video mode. I get some cool stuff. To bad it's so hard to post video here.
  19. Shoot it that's my guess
  20. First night back to work after having COVID for the second time. First time was 2020 would never have known I had it if I didn't lose my sense of smell and taste this time sicker than a dog and vac's and boosted.
  21. I use a spy point data link with a Bushnell camera and every once in a while I have to go in and reset the settings or there could be nothing going by it.
