  1. Get one of these, you won't regret it.. wait for a sale, I think i only paid around $70 for mine.. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Comfort-Max-Mag-Blind-Chair/1933466.uts?searchPath=%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FcategoryId%3D734095080%26CQ_search%3Dchair
  2. Hitch Plate is gone... Updated Price for Goose Neck Extender is $250, firm...
  3. I had a pond put in 12 years ago that is between 3/4 and 1 acre... 15 feet deep... Was about $10k.... Lots of bulldozer time to make a hole that big... You want someone that knows what they are doing because there is more too it than just pushing dirt around. Just my 2 cents
  4. I just got a 2017 F250 Lariat with the 6.7 Diesel.. What a truck... It is the first Ford I have owned (after Chevy and dodge). Motor is GREAT (getting over 19mpg when not towing)... Interior is great... Features and functionality are great (including the Apple CarPlay, which is fantastic). We have a 26 foot horse trailer and were in the Berkshires a couple weeks back and it made those hills effortless. A lot of personal preference when it comes to trucks, but I am a Ford guy now..
  5. how many people hunt over or near ag fields (corn, beans, etc...)? Is it different? I have been planting plots for over 10 years.. planted about 8 acres this year (clover, turnips, brassica, radish, etc..)... anyone thinks that plots or food sources suddenly make deal foolish or "easy" is kidding themselves. 75+% of the good bucks I get on camera in August and September never show their faces in October or November. I have transitioned into planting primarily winter feed, to help the deer get back to health after the rut and that has worked well for me in terms of numbers and quality of deer. For me, the work around planting and trying to improve the health of the heard is almost as rewarding as a successful hunt. To each their own!!
  6. Moog... Good Luck in your quest.. I made a similar decision at the beginning of this year.. By being diligent about my diet and walking 4 or 5 days a week, I have managed to lose 100 pounds.. It is not easy, but it helped that my wife was "in the boat" with me.. She did not have much to lose, but continues to be supportive and has helped to redefine what a "reasonable" meal is. IF you ae in need of any good low fat/low cal recipes, let me know.. We have a few "go to" good ones. Tom
  7. Towing Items for Sale I have 2 items for sale.. #1 - B&W Extend-A-Goose Coupler.. Like new, only used a few times before we got a new truck and went back to the factory provided coupler. $275 #2 - Kurt Goose Neck Hitch Plate.. Again, only used a few times before we got a new truck with a different hitch system. $80 Pictures are obviously factor pics, but both items look just like this and in great shape. Located in Hamlin... Really don't want to get into shipping Can PM me or text at 585 738 9163
  8. Dodge Ram Floor Mats Got a set of Heavy Rubber Dodge Ram floor mats.. These were purchased from the dealer and fit and work out great (had them in a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500). Got rid of the truck, but still had the mats. $40, prefer local pick-up as I would prefer not to ship..
  9. How ever you decide, deal with it quickly and firmly or it will persist forever... You need to have a "zero tolerance" policy or they will continue to help themselves... Sometime being a nice guy just does not work!!
  10. What types of clover do you like to plant for Plots? Landino has always worked well for me..
  11. I have a Colt Defender in 9mm and love it.. Very Solid gun!
  12. Muddy... no complaints after using for 5+ years
  13. Where did you find those.. they look great
  14. Those are the types of encounters that it is almost impossible to explain to people that don't hunt or don't spend time in the woods... Puts a smile on your face and makes you wonder what that young deer and turkey were thinking. thx for sharing
  15. For fall plots, I have been doing a mix of Daikon Radish, Purple Top Turnips and Dwarf Essex Rape.. Seems to work good for me.. I fertilize it at a rate of 100lbs per acre with 15/15/15..
  16. If you are going composite I would go with Azek.. Far superior product in my opinion.. We have had ours for 2 years and never requires more than hosing it off
  17. I am surprised that you have not pumped t out since the house was built and you have never had a problem until now.. We get ours pumped out every 3 years and they say it is just about the right amount of time.
  18. I have used a friend of mines... it was pretty sturdy, but I found that he shooting rail was much closer than I would want it and found it hard to get a good rest and still be able to shoulder the gun.. might just be the one he had, but i need like another foot to be comfortable.
