  1. I am going on 21 years.. Best $4000 I ever spent...
  2. I have an Extang Trifecta 2.0 folding tonneau cover on my F250. I really love it.. I have had caps in the past, but I tend to use my truck more like a "truck", so it gives me the flexibility to carry a almost full load in the bed or hook up my goose neck by simply folding it back. Real happy with the way it has worked out and the quality of the product (and it only cost me about $350)...
  3. A number of people at work switching to T Mobile.. they claim the service is just as good and pricing is significantly better.. May be worth a look.
  4. Mindhunters is really good.. also liked Manhunt: Unabmber (non fiction and very interesting)
  5. Here is an idea on something I do all the time for a venison appetizer... take stew meat or cut up steaks into small pieces... pound them lightly to flatten them and then they have the consistency of "cube steaks".. dip in egg and then Italian bread crumbs.. you can either fry them or bake them in the oven until crisp... Dip in anything from BBQ sauce to Ranch dressing... guaranteed everyone will like them.. also easy to make them ahead of time and re-heat.. just an idea
  6. you look to be set up really well... It also looks like you vacuum seal everything, is that correct? Best of luck to you.. Never easy starting out!
  7. don't even go there... not a good comment

  10. the best part of this time of year is that the bucks "range" expands significantly and you never know what is going to show up!!!
  11. well done.. At the end of the day there is only one person you have to worry about making happy..
  12. I had a similar experience.. In my case it was being in the "heat of battle" and using my 30 yard pin instead of my 20. It sucks, but would rather have a clean miss any day... I hope you get another chance with him.. you never know
  13. I would let your motivation be that things can change at any second... my friend took a nice buck at my camp on 10/21 that was chasing a doe that was bleating.. It can happen at any time... that is always my motivation this time of year...
  14. thanks Cabin Fever.. I figured worth trying if it makes all day sits in the blind a little easier...
  15. Anyone ever use a propane heater in their blind.. I know people use for ice fishing, so just curious... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Texsport-Portable-Outdoor-Propane-Heater-New-Free-Shipping/361624299975?epid=166795770&hash=item54327ce9c7:g:mCMAAOSwuzRXdaLk
  16. Basil Hayden.. Hard to beat for a reasonable priced bourbon
  17. If you have the flexibility, I would make that change... Thursday morning should be great with 30 degrees over night
  18. what kind of cameras do you have.. seems crazy that they can make scrapes 10 yards away and not trigger the camera
  19. stay put.. the chances of stalking a turkey are very very low
  20. Just curious what peoples experiences are with using a Buck decoy this time of year.. Always wanted to try but haven't.. Also, any suggestions on one to buy without braking the bank?
  21. I found this website to be helpful, especially for ribs.. I have been making some great food (ribs, chicken, meatloaf, turkey, etc...) It is hard to screw things up if you go "low and slow" http://www.thesmokerking.com/
