I just can't buy into the conspiracy that there is a different quality of products coming from a Big Box store vs a smaller Hardware Store . I have purchased toilets , faucets , sump pumps , water heater , etc from Big Box store with no problem . Had a problem with a Moen faucet that a contractor installed and it was from a plumbing dealer .

I took down my Rebel flag (which you can't buy on e-bay any more) and peeled the NRA sticker off the front door. I disconnected my home alarm system and quit the candy-ass Neighborhood Watch. I bought two Pakistani flags and put one at each corner of the front yard. Then I purchase the black flag of ISIS (which you CAN buy on e-bay) and put it in the CENTER of the yard. Now, the local police, sheriff, FBI, CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, Secret Service and other agencies are all watching my house 24/7. I've NEVER felt safer and I'm saving $69.95 a month that ADT charged me. Plus, I bought burkas for my family when we shop or travel. Everyone moves out of way and security can't pat us down. Safe at last – only in USA!

I thought about that and also a battery backup sump and passed on both after reading reviews on the two of them . I forget what the line water to sump water ratio was but people gave that a poor rating as well as the battery backup .

Good idea ..... maybe all I need to do to erase any data is to rub a chalk board eraser on it . That's what Hillary would probably do .

Yes . My father in law had a submersible and a stand up in his sump crock . One was set higher than to other to be activated and it seemed to work for him . He had two different drain hoses .

The generator will do a self test each Sunday at 7:30 am . I told my neighbor that if he gives me any crap I would move the time up to 2 am . Actually , we get along great .

I am surprised how heavy the hard drives are for their size . Maybe when my stomach heals from my operation I can give the sledge hammer a workout . I just didn't trust any company that would recycle computers to have any hard drives .

There was a recycling for old TVs , Computers , Printers , Monitors , etc a week ago . I pulled 3 hard drives out of a couple of desk top computers because I didn't know if I had banking information or other personal info on them . So , do I just smash them or what so that they are totally worthless ? Any suggestions ?

The initial cost of the generator was $3700 and I signed up for a Lowes Credit card and got 5% off the price . No sales tax . It is a 16K kw and should be just fine for the two of us . They did some digging in the frozen ground and I told them to just leave the dirt pile and I would get rid of it in the spring ..I will have to do a bit of landscaping and put some sort of picket fence enclosure so when the grandkids come over there will be a deterrent to keep them away .

I think Slowhand had a good idea he posted a couple years ago . Take a gallon jug from something like a windshield washer bottle . Slice off the bottom except for say a 3" wide strip going lengthwise . Place the 3"strip behind the camera and tighten the camera to the tree . The bottom of the jug would act as an umbrella . Paint it if you desire .
