    You can wrap the Heat Tape around the pipe for better coverage . Just DON"T wrap the tape over itself . I haven't used one in several years but I recall the tapes had a tab at the end that would glow so you knew it was working . This is just one example of a Lowe's Heat Tape .     Put a heat tape on the water pipe under the trailer ( from where the pipe comes out of the ground to where it goes into the trailer ) . The tapes come in different lengths . Get the right size . What ever you do , do "NOT" wrap the tape over itself !

    The heat tape is worthless if it isn't plugged in . We had a mobile home when we we 1st married . Always used a heat tape . Never got frozen pipes here north of the 104 Corridor .

    My next door neighbor has a Dodge Ram . No idea what year it is . His back fenders are all rusted out . He said it's a common problem with the Rams that never got fixed . He has been searching for a replacement truck bed for a couple years with no luck . Other than that , he loves his Dodge Ram .

    When we go to Hilton Head , I am tempted to drive up to Yemassee and by Parris Island for old times sake . I will never forget getting off the train and boarding busses to to to P.I . I was never so scared in my life when a DI started screaming at us .

    We have over a foot of snow here in Ontario . Got out the snow blower and cleared the driveway . The battery was dead in my Subaru this am so I drove my wife's Impala to the Eye Doctor in Irondequoit this am . The roads had been plowed but were still nasty . She doesn't have aggressive tires on the car and I got stuck a couple times but made it there and back . It's still snowing .......
