That was the exact problem I had with my 1300 right out of the box. Patterned high left no matter what shell I put through it. Ended up installing a Leupold 1x4 shotgun scope, problem solved!!! It's my only turkey gun for over 25 years now and still going strong. You have to wonder how many others shotguns don't shoot to the point of aim?

Actually Dan, it's a box call made for me by a friend in Wisconsin. His name is Jerry Zebro and makes some awesome sounding box calls. Name of his business is "Foggy Hollow custom calls". I currently own 4 of his calls now.

I have the very same gun as you. Like most of the others have already stated, you have your homework to do. Years ago, I spent the money and got a Rhino choke, sized .660, and then went with "Nitro Company" shells. A Tri-plex hevi-shot load of #4-#5-#7. Incredible patterns!!!! But the cost of those shells at the time were $100.00 for a box of 25!!! Decided to switch to a Patternmaster "code black" choke while using the new Winchester XR's in #4's or #5's instead. Again, very impressed with the patterns using this combo as well. Personal choice comes into play here. Good luck with yours!!!!

I have been watching the show since it first came on, and was wondering if anyone else thinks that Ragnor is still alive? When they checked that pit they threw him into with all those snakes, there wasn't anything down there? You would of thought at least a skeleton or his clothes? What happened to all those snakes too? I'm thinking that some how he escaped and will appear on the next seasons show. What are some of your thoughts on this?

Love the Extended Range shells!!! Not going to a 20 gauge anytime soon, since the 12 gauge 3" does everything I need it to. Glad to see they are going to help out the smaller gauge fans though.

I'm about to join you with a Halon 32 myself this coming year. Currently still own a Mathews Switchback which is a little over 10 years old now.
