Truck, four wheeler, or tractor. Mostly hunt on my farm so usually not a big deal. Sent from my KFSOWI using Tapatalk

Maybe this will help? I didn't realize there were some more codes at the bottom.

How was that process? I have one in 25-06 and was looking into additional barrels. Wasn't too keen on sending half my gun out though. I'd be interested to know how it turns out for you.

I just looked online and they have them for $169.99. Not sure what shipping is but that's a great price. This is probably the most solid built and feeling stand that I have. Too bad I only sit in it 3-4 times a year. -
Nice buck. Cool pic with your stand in the background. Good luck.

Looks promising.

Got an email today from 60X offering 15% off new strings. If you need strings I highly recommend them. I had about 5000 shots on my last set from them before I had to replace it. Use code STRING15 to save 15%.

I bought one 3-4 years ago at Bass Pro. They had a floor display model marked down to $150, which was a huge steal since I didn't have to put it together. I put it up at camp on a huge ridge over looking a dead beaver pond. I don't bow hunt out of it though, just gun Hunt at camp. -
I shoot the Redhead X1 Pro sold at Bass Pro Shops and have been extremely happy with them. They're $60 per half doz. but they also have an X3 model that they sell for $40-$50 per half doz and X5 envy model that are slightly cheaper. They are all Gold Tip made arrows with a Redhead logo on them.

Oh the kids, let's not bring that up...I'm sure they're fine.

I use a Redfield raider rangefinder. Wife got it for me a few years back. I always carry it in my pack but mostly use it during archery season. I usually do what Red said and mark a few ranges on trees. They are a useful tool to have.

Back in the end of January I kicked the kids out of this room and cleaned out all of the old toys that they never play with. Had to compromise with the wife so the treadmill and bike stayed. I added the furniture and tv 2 days before the Super Bowl. The lamp is an antler lamp I bought online for $20, drapes (?) are from Bass Pro. Pay no attention to the boxes, I'm in the process of building a computer. The only things I really want to change is the mirror behind the shelving and the blinds. I'm thinking a nice outdoor mural over the mirror. I also have some various outdoor pics and a few more deer skulls/antlers that still need to be added.

I've killed 2 non typicals, so I'm going with typical. Who doesn't love a big symmetrical rack!

Amazing. I'd find a way to hunt them. -
Here are a couple bucks that have been hanging out behind our sheep pasture. Some nice up and comers!
-
At the farm here in southern tier it's sit and wait. At camp up in northern tier it's still hunt. A lot more woods up north.

Happy Valley in Oswego county is pretty decent early season. You ever check that out?

I bought a tiller for the tractor and love it! Best money I've spent in a while. I still had to plow up the field to remove the roots. But the tiller makes quick work compared to the discs.

I'm not sure it's necessarily a threat, but as mentioned above by Stealthe3, anyone who plans to use a crossbow to hunt this fall should have to sit through a mandatory course. Or only make the tags available to those that already have their archery certification. I don't think a lot of the new crossbow hunters fully understand their limitations because a lot of them don't archery hunt. They could end up wounding more deer than killing because they are making poor shot selections. People need to be educated on their implements, that's why there are pistol courses, bow courses, and hunter/gun safety courses. There should be a crossbow course now too.
