I have a question about this.... i have a cap mount of a 4 point and im tinkering with the idea of using them horns for rattling... is this a good idea cause its a small rack, or a dumb idea cause its a small rack. feedback will be much appreciated!!!

i said something about shooting from a vehicle. so your telling me its not trespassing if someone kils a deer on your property from a vehicle and retrieves the deer, or whatever they shoot? who said anything about breaking into house? that made alot of sense.........

I have never bow hunted before in my ife. I have lost deer by shooting with a rifle twice, and muzzleloader once. in my opinion, anybody can lose deer regargless of the weapon of choice, or season. I do plan on bowhunting in the future for more time hunting and meat on the table. btw, i eventually found all the deer i shot, but that dont matter here nor there, i was lucky to find them days later.

last i knew, if you shoot a deer on private land, from a vehicle, it is an eco issue.

had sleds all my life, untill i had kids, and playtime was over But, maybe within the next few years i can ease myself back in. -
around here, the nearest pd is neary 20 mies away, and they wont do squat with hunting issues, dec is aways a over it.

took down my scent wicks and drip can this a.m., cause i was being a brat, sum1 else is sittin in my spot tonite....... i went back down 3 hours later to put the heater in and a tall chair for my step-son, and right where my drip was, there was a brand new scrape. 13 scrapes in all, in a lil 1.5 acre plot i have. they are coming thru between 830 and 1130. never seen that b4 up here in 6g

I have a tributarie in my back yard, lotsa salmon still trucking up thru. caught 3 last friday.

we all do that. its hard to tell at a distance, especially broadside. i did it once and was like damn! oops.

set up some mock scrapes and mock rubs, and hang some scent wicks. it will attract deer to that area, and they may hang out there to see whos creating all the rutkus. use a rasp on smaller saplings, and spray scent killer on it afterwards, then put a few drops of the scent of ur choice.(wildlife research active scrape and mega tarsal plus), and put special golden estrus on the wicks. you may have good results.

The guy I know hasnt returned my phonecall, he owns a xmas tree farm, and its the season for trees, so hes pretty busy, but im trying to get more info. my gf said he would probably take 900 an acre and six pack of twisted tea, lol. im trying to get more info.

we have road hunter issues, really bad. so we have a dec officer we are pretty tight with, and he sets up mechanicals all over the place. after they get shot a few times, and some arrestsare made, it stops, until next breed of dumb asses comes thru next season.

if your a smoker, that works well too, deer cant smell it in a stand. i do it all the time

anything under 3 inches is considered antlerless deer, depending on your region.

saw a monster at about 545, had to let it go. perfect shot too...... grunted him in to 50 yards, cross hairs on the kill zone, but i was afraid of bullet going thru ricocheting off rocks and going thru a house tht was 600 yards from me. probably woulda been fine, but im always thinking of what ifs. ill see him tomorrow night.
