Just about 24 hrs now. PSEG guy is out front and has no information. Storm raced Across long Island hitting us first in Huntington. Saying it was an F1 Tornado. Pole broke right in front of house. Big oak came down on two cars.

We caught them on my property and my neighbors. 1 day to move it out or lawdogs coming in. Local idiots and I don't want them around. Next time the real deal.

We were in the same situation last year. Hanging on for that email about making an ECNL U15 team. It came at the last minute before we were going to commit to another EDP team. She made the team. It was here dream to play with the best ECNL was it. Well a year has gone by now and we left. The fit wasn't right with the coach. He did some shitty things to his players and we could not stand it anymore. We pulled the plug after the last game for the season. They actually did real well and made the Nationals in San Diego. No way were we going with this guy running the ship. She tried out for a few teams and made each one, not boasting but she didn't even try out just went to open practices and the coaches granted her a spot on the team. We move on and learn a lesson. I'm sure your daughter played against some of our friends in EDP, Lake Grove Newfield is one team. Good luck!

OMG when I lived in EastNorthport there was this scrap guy. Same deal messy yard but had a fence around the junk. He would come and take anything you had but best of all was such a great guy! lol maybe same guy.

Yeah it gives us downstaters a bad name. Some just want to live in the country and have it their way. Watch out for the ones that just don't complain but start getting involved in the local government. This has been going on for a real long time. I can remember I was very close to moving up to my Brother in laws area in Burdett. I was young around 25, didn't happen but he told me this, "you come up here and you keep your mouth shut and just listen for a while" I thought this was good advice. Too bad many others don't do this when relocating.
