  1. I have a Dewars whiskey box. Found it in the basement, no whiskey but the box is worth about 200 bucks!
  2. Congrats that is some achievement! Now how about a 4x4 at bow season!!!!!!
  3. Just had an estimate for a 30 by 40 pond put in. That included everything including fish $4500. I want something bigger so I'm holding off for a couple of years.
  4. This stuff is out of this world. Give it a try they have a few flavors. You won't be sorry!
  5. So I have 20 acres of soybeans at the cabin. When will the deer really start hitting them. I looked a few days ago and the plant is still flowering and has no beans. Would like to set up a cam on this area. Very cool about the fence hope it does its job!
  6. Rented "Recall" last night with my daughter. SciFi movie, it was pretty good.
  7. Was at my place this week. Oats are coming in real strong. Checked the cams had a doe in the oats and a bear at my top food plot. This area is loaded with berries, I'm sure thats why he was there. Cleaned up the trails and mowed the lawn.
  8. Was at my place with my brother in Howard. He left to go back to Cortland around 2 and got caught in a hell of a storm. Had a 55 mph sign fly past his van. Everyone ok.

    CWD

http://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/columnists/paul-smith/2017/06/28/macaque-study-heightens-concerns-human-susceptibility-cwd/430046001/ Those hunters in Wisconsin that harvest deer, I wonder if they eat them? If your state has the highest amount of CWD would you eat the meat? Why don't they talk about any cases that may have come up, or are there none???? For me if NY was to ever run into this problem I would have a hard time shooting a deer I didn't consume. Sure would dampen things a bit for deer season.
  12. Prayers sent Zem. I sent you a PM.
  13. You never want any problems with your neighbors. Try to avoid conflict at all costs. He did talk a load of BS with you so you see that he can't be trusted right away. The cam should go back to him, he knows who's stand that is. Take it down and let him know if he comes arose the owner he can give it back to them. Next thing to do is post the land. Let him know you are doing this just so everyone knows the boundaries and to keep trespassers off. I would also let him know of your hunting intentions. Being that you only have 11 acres watch where you put your stands especially if he owns a lot more acreage. I meaning border hunting. There are pages and pages of thoughts about stand placement along borders just do what you feel is right. Just know that you may have to explain to him why you're set up on a border of the property. It can lead to all kind of conversation……lol
  14. Sorry for your loss. Good buddies like that never get replaced. RIP
  15. Where can I buy a Mulberry bush-tree?
  16. Plot coming in nicely! Other pict is just the view from the east side of property!
  17. Property will be withdrawn this week, taxes were paid. In a way I'm glad it can wait.
  18. This property has had my eye on it for a while. I know it well and hopefully can make a winning bid without breaking the bank.
  19. Awesome deer buddy! They grow big in these parts!!!
  20. Thanks all I'll let you know how it goes next Friday!
