We talk about the strength of a big buck that has been hit but still goes on and on taking us to places we have never been before. Well this story is about a little chipmunk that had his back broken by a nasty cat. I came upon him this morning and wondered what to do. My neighbor who is the owner of the cat said just put him down and burry him. I did that and a few hours later after washing my car i poured the bucket of water over the critter to make sure he was dead. Well out came his front paws then his head to say" hell i'm still alive' I took him in and gave him a nice cosy place to try to make it. He lasted few hours then passed. A big heart for a little fellow for sure!
Lawns didn't grow this year, lack of rain! lol Pay someone do it for you. If we get a lot of rain it could get very high in a month. I have dealt with this and it really slows down the lawn tractor. End up cutting it twice.
Just got back in. Was a very good weekend indeed. Kids, dog and myself all got some RnR! Here are a drew picts of the dog in my oat field. The shot behind the cabin is the soy beans. The cam shots were few and far between. Had a malfunction with one of the cams so only have a couple of bucks to show. Local farmer has been talking about a big dog he is seeing. Calling it a Timber wolf………..
First 3 day weekend in a year since I bought the Pepperidge Farm route. Going up with my girls, weather looks great! Mowing the lawn, pulling the cards on the cam and drinking a lot of beer! Enough said…..
