Yes they are. I've mentored kids and will do it again when the time is right. Put that early youth season in and you can bet the ranch I will have a couple of kids on my property hunting. That said mentoring during the bow season is a blast. Hanging two stands in the same tree and watching that wide eyed kid enjoying the outdoors, priceless!

50 acres is the size. Yea that gets me one every year.

Just got back from camp. This is about 3 weeks worth of picts. Check out the freaky buck. One horn growing down and is it just me or does he look a bit peculiar? Here are some real small fawns and a couple of pictures of the coyotes. I'm pretty sure that is two yotes in that picture. That is a clover food plot. all the animals seem to love it. BTW just spent 12 hours on the road to and from camp. Saw some really big healthy deer on rt 17. Enjoy the picts

Respectively I'm not going down the road listing what ammunition or guns need to be banned. Both sides need to come together and find out a way America can live with guns. The second amendment won't send us to hell. We just need a way to control it and not let our forefathers turn over in their grave.

I watched the whole show. I didn't think it was a total slam against gun owners. Sure Piers can't get over why america loves guns but they did talk about each sides view. Michael More did say it's not about gun control but why Americans think they need them. They also talked about what has to happen to make a change, Presidents get shot along with a Congresswoman and students. Why no one including the President will take action. I'm in favor of tighter control on certain types of weapons and ammunition and found the interview interesting. I'm sure if someone came on from the NRA i would find that interesting also.

Hi Bill, I mentored a kid a few years back in NY. He has moved on to huntig in Vermont in the Brattleboro area. This year he has picked up some nice deer and bear on his trail cams. Tough area to hunt but he is starting to pattern the deer. Any advice on hunting Vermont?

I got one of those also last pull. Difference is I gave permission for the young lady to ride my trails. Doesn't hurt anything and she stops around Sept.

Post Denver shootings. It's funny how you don't hear a peep from Ted supporting gun rights. I think the NRA would skin him alive if he opened up his mouth right now. This guy isn't worth a grain of salt.

I believe that is what I said. BTW you know what I meant by using the word clip, snarky on your part to correct me.

If no action takes place the same thing will happen over and over again. Put a variable in place and it will stop some these crazy acts. That is good enough for me, someones life was just saved. For example, take away that 100 round clip he was able to use. Yes, some of these crazies may find them anyway but it may stop a few, lives saved. It has to start somewhere, laws that govern ammunition and guns that serve no purpose to the ordinary American have to be put in place.
