my favorite deer gun is my mossberg 500 with the 28'' smooth bore barrel really accurate with the slugs even at 100yards open sights. also very good for the small game.

i use the huge blocks of foam that are placed along most race tracks. i live with in 20 minutes of a track and stop up there once a year and get permission to take a couple of blocks.they are usually 4'x5' and 3 plus feet thick. they work really well you can move your targets all over the block flip it spin is shoot all the sides. me and my friends shoot 1000s of rounds each into them every year and when im done with it i pass it down to a friend or some one and go get another couple.

i also cant stand that they now placed all the guns behind the counter. it was so much more convenient before to be able to just go in and look at any gun you want with out waiting for some one. i wont even bother to go into gander to look at guns anymore the wait isnt worth it. i also agree i dont buy ammo their either they are way over priced even the clothing most of the time.

when i was younger i use to hunt with my uncle along the sides of rail road tracks in the thick brush and get plenty of rabbits. when ever i take a walk every now and then along the tracks i still see rabbits every where. Another very good spot we always had like with was along the grape vines.

I went out target shooting saturday morning with my brother in law his buddy and my friend. his buddy has never fired a shot a gun before and after 3 hrs of shooting clay with the shot gun then other target with deer slugs .22s some pistols and a muzzle loader he said he found himself a new expensive hobby and is already looking to buy his first gun. well today i enjoyed a nice venison stew for dinner that i had in the crock pot for 9hrs mmmm i love some venison stew. then i just spent the last 4 hours breaking down all the guns and cleaning them what a project but it feels great when its all done and they are shiney again.

that was the funniest video. she doesnt mind them in the living room as long as i can try to get them all on the same walland stop replacing her picture frames with mounts lol. saturday she said she caint wait to sell the house and buy one with a finished basement so i can have a man cave im not gonna argue with her on that one. lol

thank you ny hunter im very pleased with the way it came out it i just hung it saturday and already the wife is trying to get me to move it to another wall in the living room she wants me to try and keep my mounts on one wall she said with all the kid toys and my stuff on the walls she doesnt feel like the living room has a womens touch at all anymore lol

i would say i see a couple each time im out in franklinville in the southerntier. theres nothing like that soun of their wings drumming its a very cool sound.

thank you bubba that was very helpful. the owner is my grandmother she kind of let the property go to crap a few years ago when the people she was renting to didnt pay rent for over 6 months.

i havent bought any yet but ive been in contact with one of the county clerks and shes been helping me along the way i already know wich property ill be bidding on but the auction wont be until the spring time. can you give me some insight as to how these go?

a good way to go is to contact the county clerk and see what land might be going up for auction. could be a good way to get land cheap and land that possibly hasnt been hunted in a while

just thought i would show my other mounts also since i havent posted them in here. both deer are off os state land the first one with the bow in 2005 and the third pick is my 10pt with shot gun in 2009 the bear is from 2010 and the fish is my sons it was his first fish he caught it this summer just before his 2nd birthday.
