Ur better off getting the 20 dollar mounts from gander which are way cheaper than the lock box n cable lock n get a few screw in steps n put em up 10 foot high ... Chances are they won't even notice them up high being that they are out of line of sight n most look for trail cams 3 foot off the ground ... If they do happen to look up , they better have some ladder sticks or screw in steps to be able to get it .. Lock boxes are ok , but if they really want it, a pair a bolt cutters n gone! Happened to two of my cams on public last year, since I put em high I caught two guys in orange walk right past with their heads to the ground ...

I've seen some pretty sweet gun racks with the leg/hoof as the hooks ... If done right pretty tasteful ...

Gotta get out there in early archery boys heard a lot of complaining of its warm,and the bugs are out in early season.... N then I've also heard a lot of complaining it's too cold out now and the deer aren't moving ... Lol , well because the Guns came out ...

Well since he's been traditionally nocturnal, n he's def a mature buck , hopefully in the next year or so he'll slip into that more visible nature/pattern they tend to do around 5 or 6 y/o... Piss off neighbors haha! Brute for sure

been using it for the past 6 yrs and its time to replace the cables but other than that its gold.. lightest climber i've ever had, and its just like sitting in a hang on stand but obviously a climber. great for bow hunting especially without having to worry about that stupid rail, and the seat is the thickest most stable cushion too, very comfortable, one piece of crucial advice , spend the extra 30 bucks and get the foot rest , worlds of difference for your back on a long sit! enjoy! -

I'm with ya on that one , just wasn't in the cards at the time n brought it up from FL for grad school .. Sucks cause now I can't get to my rifle spot in Batavia n gotta settle for shotgun in Lockport ... Oh well huntings hunting , good luck

Welcome to the club lol.. Four sits have ended up that way for me and one I was way back in the swamp that's pretty hard to get to , just can't seem to get in a spot without somebody walkin up on me .. Frustrating to say the least ..

Couldn't agree with u more doc... After the first week I'm basically scoutin around sit for a bit n scout some more etc... That's how I found the spot I killed my bow buck this year at the very tail end of gun last year... I just meant the deer movement isn't natural like bow season ... -

Well, made it out for what was the last sit of the season with my course load gettin pretty hairy, thesis, and finals takin up all my time until end of season , unless my redneck kicks in again n says f it im goin ... But had this guy startle the crap outa me as I was creepin through the thickets in the swamp, ran 70 yds or so gave em a baaa, stopped n looked back an wammo with the 12 ga...doesn't surpass the bow buck by any means but a cool little buck on an orange army public land , trophy in itself lol... Counting down the days for what 2014 bow has to offer- 35 replies

Have I mentioned how much I hate gun season! Lol ... If u don't get lucky the first couple days it's pretty much game over , not to say people don't kill em after that but the movement sucks in general unless ur on some primo private farm ... Oh well I'll still enjoy my time in the woods on the off chance a good one decides to move ... Bow 2014 I look forward to what you may bring me -

Don't ever use bleach though, too harsh and will actually start to break down the bone n make the skull brittle... Just boil, let dry, then paint on 40 percent peroxide from local beauty supply once, let dry (in the sun preferably) and the a second application of peroxide depending on how white u like it ....
