Someone owes me a royalty!
-
Yep. Can eat what I want from noon until 6pm. Nothing before or after except Sat. I have also been cutting back on complex carbs too but still eat them if I want.
-
Not really. I wake a bit hungry on some days but a cup of coffee is enough to get me to lunch. Down 12lbs two weeks in and it doesn’t really feel like a diet. Big thing is it stops me from mindless post dinner snacking.

Hope not got plans to see some dogs.

That’s impressive consistency Gman. I currently shoot 30” easton 340s with 300g heads from this bow. I like heavy heads. DW is about 55lbs at my 29” DL. I really have never played with woodies but my current total weight is around 650g. I suspect woodies will be heavier which is cool with me. If you are serious, happy to pay you for some that tune up for me. It would be a sweet arrow to kill a buck with next year!

You make some up that spine for me and I will promise to kill Deer with them. Shot a 267 on the nfaa 20yd tonight. Could have easily been a 280. Grouped great but a bit high. Loving the longbow. Thise are beautiful arrows and wood arrows with knapped heads go with a longbow like peanut butter and jelly! lol

Great job. I am with you on this one. Week 2 for me. Sticking with intermittent fasting which just means I only eat from noon to 6pm except Saturday. It seems to we working well and is very sustainable. Still hitting weights but need to add cardio. I am a bit lazy on cardio. Stay with it swamp. We can both get where we want.

about a billion times to me at least - I think you turned your light on starting at the Tim Hortons drive through

And just who would do that!

If they are loose, you can use Saran Wrap. Push the nock through the wrap and into bolt. Then trim.

What are your thoughts on full crossbow inclusion? Don’t answer, I was kidding. Welcome aboard. I started later in life too and am happy that I started at all. You will have a blast.

come out with us one night. you will be hooked. but be ready to spend money when you are.

electric gives all the smoke you need or want, especially if you add the Amaz-n pellet tray. Its what many guys, myself included, use with a masterbuilt electric. The benefit of electric is keeping constant temps. The Amaz-n tray with pellets will smoke for 14hrs straight. Its a great set up if you want to set it and forget it.

He has how to videos on his site showing his handsome mug so his identity is not much of a secret. https://pursuitoutdoors.com/about

Treeguy has been doing the calling but what I learned in general is to start low with a food type call (baybee cottontail, bird in distress, fawn in distress). He runs that for 5 min or more increasing volume, then on to call two if nothing shows - could be a another food call, and lastly is the yote pup distress or another social call. I think he prefers to avoid the yote calls to start as it will drive away fox. But if you are only targeting yotes, you may want to get into those calls earlier. He tends to run them constant without much stopping although he does switch it up occasionally. I think you would be better off to continue running the call if you are getting a response or switch to a different call. Silence may cause them to lose interest. I know there is lots of debate on whether to stop for periods and restart. Most I have read say keep calling. But part of the fun is experimenting and seeing what works. I plan to jump on the caller this weekend and maybe give treeguy a break for some sets. We shall see.

lol - then you hum them in on something patriotic - star spangled banner?

2018 HuntingNY Whitetail Challenge Winners!
moog5050 replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in 2018 HuntingNY Whitetail Classic
Too funny. That's a lot of venison. I killed 2 doe and 2 bucks and my freezer doesn't look anything like that. Then again, I donated one to a yote and probably 2 more to people that asked and could use it. So be it. nothing going to waste! Congrats Zeek -
I assume the money is not just in ownership of the rack but appearances, etc and those requests or at least the value of them drops once its no longer the WR. I could be wrong.
-
I have not tried blowing one long enough although I did buy a couple of mouth calls at Grampy's suggestion but I would hate blowing for 20 min straight or longer on a set specifically for yotes. I keep the mouth calls in my pack when deer hunting just in case I see one and want to call it in.

I understand that the buck shot by Brewster this year is bigger than the prior record shot by Tucker a year or two ago. So my comment related to the fact that Tucker's buck might have been worth a projected 7 figures, unless its bested Breswters a short time later. If true, the tucker buck's tenure as the WR was cut short and so too was his payday in all likelihood.
-
Brewsters buck is now bigger than Tucker's buck if I am following.
-
but "imagine" if he switched to 209 as a result and killed him with 209 .... what a story for 209
-
Even worse, his 7 figure buck may have just become worth much less only a short time later.
