  1. Going to be tough to better that first! lol great job and great follow up!.
  2. Persistence- dogged determination- pays off. Congrats Bob. You earned this one big time!
  3. I have bought and sold cars with out of state parties. Always went smooth. Makes sense asking if title is clean and for VIN to do carfax. Not sure why a photo is needed but then again, there isn’t much info on a title that isn’t something you will provide anyways. Without looking, name, address and VIN.
  4. Agree with Grampy, you deserve one with all the time you put in. I really can't complain with less than 20hrs in the stand since Oct. 1. Pulling for you!
  5. If we are going that far, I would say self made bow with handmade arrows and flint heads.
  6. At least there are some horns still around.
  7. That is interesting. First I heard of them. Buy one that can be returned and test it without mounting it.
  8. Bought at a discount and sold them for what I paid. Didn’t think they were worth the money if I am honest. No offense to those using them. did the same thing with a $2700 swaro - was awesome but not 2700 awesome. Lol
  9. I had the vx5 hd. And a vx6 hd. The best I have used overall is my zeiss conquest hd5. 44mm obj. Great great glass, including in low light.
  10. Access to game rich property sure helps too! I haven't hunted long enough to remember the good ole days before social media. But logic tells me that hunting was less of a competition between hunters and the size of the the antlers on the deer they killed back then. Maybe that was better - no shaming just fun. Nothing wrong with wanting to shoot the biggest buck but why is the question. If you can honestly say it has nothing to do with impressing others, kudos to you. If impressing others is a significant motivating factor, maybe a thought reset is required. And none of this has anything to do with selling products. I think even a new hunter knows better than to believe most of the latest and greatest products are going to make the difference in their success. But what do I know ....
  11. Great deadlift for the young woman. Not a hook grip (which hurts like hell). Standard over under grip. Congrats to her.
  12. Spike and doe got a pass. The buck I was expecting was a no show. Hate being stood up!
  13. Let the season begin! Lol First time out since first week of Nov I think.
  14. Thanks Larry. Client is very happy. Been a long time coming. Maybe now I will actually get out one of these days before gun season ends.
  15. Live from the office. Just settled one of the most contentious lawsuits I ever handled between some very well heeled farmers. My client's holdings just grew from 5300 acres to 6300 acres. I wonder if he has a spot I can throw a stand up. lol
  16. Went short this year. 12’ down to 7.5’ with 2 missing sections. But it works.
  17. If you brush it in well enough near cluttered backdrop, it should not be an issue. I have had deer walk within a few yards of one I set up in bow the next day. But it was well brushed in.
  18. I like the butt out tool too. It really works. You only need to spin it around once. Are you helicoptering the thing tacks?
