  1. You better be hunting on your B-day belo. Enjoy!
  2. Just saw this. Congrats Biz. Looks like a very fun trip.
  3. Never thought about this, so raw organ meat should not be given to the dog? I better microwave it.
  4. 2012 was green. You must be getting old Culver - that's only 2 years ago. lol
  5. Good example steve. Impressive spread on the OP's buck regardless, but based on your example, I agree its less than 20. Your first estimate may be close. Depends on whether we are looking at inside or outside spread.
  6. Trying to take a shot behind the stand only to realize before releasing that due to my ninja like maneuvering the bow hanger was now in between my cables at full draw. Doe walked and my bow survived. lol Heck, with my girth, it was a victory just to be able to stand and make the turn without being spotted. Its tough for a gorilla in a tree to go undetected.
  7. Welcome Vince. You are welcome to visit this way anytime. Happy to bring you out for some lake Ontario salmon. Ask phade how they fight. He can explain. lol I know you aren't advertising but love the grunt call you made for me last year.
  8. I have no experience with the shotguns, but CZ rifles are excellent quality at a fair price. Very accurate.
  9. Congrats Abruno and to your wife too.
  10. Way to keep it fun! Congrats to her on her first deer.
  11. I would skip them too. I am not a huge fan of the organ meat, but the new puppy loves the heart and liver as a treat. Never thought about feeding her the kidneys. I will have to try that.
  12. Hang in there Terry. The bucks will be moving when you are again.
  13. I would be a stuffed sausage in there. I agree that a two man blind with a chair is the way to go, even if more effort.

    WOW - great buck. Congrats!
  15. Sounds like a great weekend with the kido. Nice!
  16. Congrats - you will always remember this BB. Nice job.
  17. I got the asat leafy suit. You can throw it over anything and it works great. Cost around $120 for everything and really could be the only camo you own. Light weight for early season or layer for later. Fits me at 6'1" 330ish.
  18. Great buck! Congrats. Sounds like an exciting shot too!
  19. Hunter guessed 200lbs. Looks bigger to me, but I am bad at guessing bear weight. You never know Cabin. Its out your way.
  20. Was forward a text from a friend of a photo of a black bear from his property in Wayne Co. yesterday. Definitely a reliable source. The hunter never shot at him, but the photo was taken while he was in the stand. Pretty cool. I know there was a small one in Rochester this past summer, but what a surprise it was for the hunter who took the photo. I know I would be shocked if I saw one on the lands I hunt around here. He estimated 200lbs. I have no idea but it wasn't a cub. Not going to post the photo unless my buddy says its OK. Just thought some of you Wayne Co. guys might find it interesting. Be ready, you never know.
  21. What a sight. That would make my hunt.
