  1. That was quick. Looks good. That's a pretty good buck for FL too, correct?
  2. Exactly how big was the rack? I have serious doubts about this. (kidding) I have no answer on this other than my sarcastic questions.
  3. Teebug My point was not speed but heavier arrows. I also shoot heavier poundage than some, but with those same bows, 480g penetrate much better than 425g even though 425 are faster.
  4. I shoot a 480g arrow (easton axis n-fused) including a 125g head. Lots of thump and penetration. Not the fastest (mid 270s), but I can tell you from pulling those arrows from blocks, the heavier arrows with heavier heads penetrate much more that the lighter, faster arrows. I sold off all of my lighter arrows. MY FOC was just under 11 as I recall.
  5. Well I am quickly narrowing down where "there" is not. lol
  6. Biz, just learn the secret upstate handshake and you will be fine. Happy to teach it to you. Also works if you run into any bikers from the Sons of Anarchy. Same handshake. Do people seriously threaten others on a forum? Talk about ridiculous. BTW - my dad can beat up anyone's dad on this forum.

Yep - anything that hit our lures was on the list. lol I request that only the big hooks on the graph bite. And to really add insult, we also use a fish hawk that gives water temp at depth we are fishing. Yet even with all these new fangled gadgets, its still tough to bring them in some days. Honestly, my view is that if I am going to put in the time, I might as well do what is possible and legal to up my odds. To each his own. Off to check my phone for the trail cam MMS shots.

If you don't think using fish finders is fishing then I would guess you haven't fished the Lake Ontario in June or July for salmon/trout. Good luck trolling by chance.
  11. Wow the youth nailed the big boys. Good for them
  12. Wow - that will be tough for him to top around here. I am happy for him.
  13. Way to go Grow. Looks like good shot placement. Well done. Be careful of those lodged broadheads. I forgot last year when butchering one where I didn't get a pass through. Thank goodness I found it before hurting myself.
  14. If you can install them yourself, contact retreiverfishin on AT or the elite forum. He makes a great set of strings. I have had 0 peep rotation since installing with a lot of shooting.. 60x strings are also great. You can google the 60x website.
  15. Its a decoy - I was there and busted the decoy out. Surprised it returned with all the noise I made.
  16. with 2 pins, I would consider 20 and 35. You can hold the 35 low at 30 and high at 40. - still on deer body with both, I would think.
  17. $400-450 will get you a high end ($900 new) 2012 on AT. Of course, it depends on the bow/manufacturer. Some hold their value better.
  18. Mechanics gloves work well and Advance had a camo set.
  19. I shot a doe this year that was full of milk too.
