  1. My preference between the two would be the more mature thicker 6pt. Still waiting for that dilema this year. lol
  2. Pics please - dead moose or not, but I hope its the former. Good luck and safe travels.
  3. I have never paid attention to this. Maybe I will start.
  4. I guess one's definition depends on one's beliefs. The biblical definition is different than secular in that it applies only to God identified in the the Bible and its pretty obvious where I fall on that issue. Clearly others view things "holy" that are not so identified in the Bible and YES I truly believe in the narrow definition set for the in the Bible. I will not further debate this issue as I am not here to convince anyone.
  5. By definition, holy means set apart unto the Lord. I will not debate religion on a forum though. You can reach your own conclusion as you choose.
  6. I have done my fair share of Bible study and never heard of a holy moose.
  7. Better that you saw him up and around than wondering if he died and you couldn't find him. You will have other opportunities. Learn what you can from this experience. Good luck.
  8. Nice job Buck. Great to see a plan come together like that.
  9. Geeze you guys love to argue. I am paid to do that for a living so I will not argue on a forum. My advice, stop texting in the stand. lol. I almost didn't see the 3 doe in front of me when I was texting Monday. I know one of the doe would have preferred me to continue on texting. Off to court.
  10. Couldn't resist and shot a doe Oct. 7. She is now in the freezer. 20ft "tracking" job. Gotta love that. BTW - I did put her in the carpeted bed of the sissy truck, in a tarp of course.
  11. Don't take phade up on his offer. He is a slave driver. Come scout with us in the off season. To phade's credit, I killed my first deer from a blind spot suggested by phade. And last night, he was kind enough to show up to "help me" gut and drag my doe after I already had her in the truck. lol
  12. I hate hearing these stories. Glad you had the harness on and it turned out OK.
  13. I had both and sold the 30-06. The .270 is fun to shoot and shoots fast and flat. I just hope Livingston county goes to rifle. It would be be primary hunting gun.
  14. Good for him. I bet he is hooked, not vice versa.
  15. I bet Early will really hate the MMS cams we use AND the bed rug in my truck. lol Enjoy your hunts Early. I will do the same, cams or not. For me, the cams have encouraged me to be more selective on what I will shoot knowing whats in the area, but that is a personal choice anyways.
  16. Wow grow, those are some well manicured trails. Why doesn't my land look like that?

Give him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps that was a naturally formed salt deposit.
  18. Agree with phade. I suffered from too long of hours last year early, wanting to get down and out by later afternoon, before prime time. Still trying to break the habit.
  19. I generally jump right to BH tuning once I have confirmed timing, specs and centershot.
  20. Each blade is 1/2" meaning 1" across but if 4 blade you also have 1" crossing the other way. Total cutting surface is the same, but an X vs line.
  21. Don't know but its a nice buck
