your check is in the mail...................... just like all the others waiting for good news from albany............ it will be ok............. deep breath and no swearing at that hunter who got their's a week before you got yours. in all honesty i have heared this same gripe for the past 10 years or so. simply put........... you are the proud owner of a lifetime licence. you just have to wait for albany to send you that memo every single year because................. 1 you are just a hunter. 2 you are not trying to claim food stamps, medical bennifits, ect...ect...ect... 3 your butt aint retired and not eligible for ssi 4......................if you made it this far you should give up.............sit your butt down and keep waiting for ny state to come up with a better idea. you paid in advance for a privledge not to have to stand in a line...................... that dont mean that you still have to wait for albany to have all mailing done by the end of the month. i will apologize now for offending anybody.

quality of work ? Excellent. as far as workmanship goes you get EXACTLY what you you will be paying for(no hidden costs for this or that) and that is honest day work/labor for bottom dollar amount. with that being said............ if it comes down to having to have a permit(legal statement from town village ect ect ect) to build a structure on your land................ do yourself a HUGE favor and check. the Amish(same goes for Menonite) are not subject to those LAWS but YOU as a TAXPAYER/HOMEOWNER are. they(amish or menonite) can build it and it will be done in no time at a fraction of the cost but............ in a area that a permit is required............ if a STOP work order is filed............... YOU ARE S#@T out of luck. My brother has a neighbor that found this out the hard way(roof replacement) and as i type this 4 weeks later and after the fact................ he still has a blue(tarp) roof and a hearing date with the possibility of fine. just check into it.............. i am NOT speaking ill of one worker over the other.............. just letting you know what may or could happen. best of luck too you.

ok i got my time/dates mixed up. by August 25th you should have your tags in hand. if after the 14 days............. just like a state refund check................... it is probably in the Mail.
-
14 (2 weeks) days or so they say. if you put it for them online/phone today.......... probably in all likely hood by Monday August the 18th.

started tagging along with grandfather and uncles at age of 10 i think........ old enough to understand the phrase"STOP FIDGITING" lol seems like a long long time ago. after the informative years i began hunting on my own with friends and sometimes family members. now at the tender age of 46 i still know what the phrase stop fidgiting means.............even if i cannot spell it............ but the most important thing that i have learned is that you have to get out there in order to have something to look back on.

just back from BP in Auburn. system was running slow but no problems. was able to get both my 1st and 2nd choice so the easy part is done............ i guess now it will come down to the hard part(filling of tags) and making them count.

got a good chuckle out of this............. now just shaking my head that some people are so wrapped up in their idea's that they can no longer tell the differance between fact and fantasy(satire, joke, ect..ect..ect) sad sad day. -
just keep your blades seperate from the others. also try to find blades that are not painted or coated..... it washes off but.... also when done make sure you give it a good cleaning........... sucked for my cousin putting in a spare room and trying to find out what died........ other then that you can make very short work of 1/4ering with one of those babies.

quiet here in 7J/Niles area. heared 2 this am between 5:30am and 6:00am at about 100 yrds or so but both moved off in the other direction without either one getting any closer. heared a shot around 7:30 or so off to the south of me but that was all for excitement i had. i did see two doe with one of them with a fawn in tow but they where too far for my cammera to do it any justice. par for the couarse i guess.... when i see em they are way out of range..........and when i hear em.......... the same lol. hitting it again in the am. like i tell my wife...... "Aint gonna see nothing if ya aint out there"
-
well done congrats to you both.
