Depends what you want to use it for. For plinking a 22 or even a 38/357 lever action is affordable to shoot. For hunting the 30-30 and 35 calibers are great.

In order to age meat properly you really don't want the meat to go up or down more than a couple degrees from around the 40 degree mark. Will the meat be bad the way you do it wolc...probably not, but will it be properly aged...again probably not. I could just be talking out of my ass, but this is what I was told from a few family members that are butchers.

Not a betting man and never will be. I don't consider extremists to be Muslim and any one spewing hate to be Muslim. Read the Qu'ran and you'll see where I came to that conclusion.

Like I know the section you are talking about...look up the real translation. The real translation is sexually mature which back then was considered 17...i believe there are parts of the US where you only have to be 14 to marry. I think anyone can pull up some pretty nasty quotes from most religions and use it to their narrative. From my own readings I have found more calling for piece and love than anything else and that's way more then 2-1. I've said it a bunch of times, no point discussing this with someone who has not read it for themselves.

I brought up he two empires because you brought up how Islam is "spread by violence". That is when majority of the spreading occurred so to bring up how they spread brings up hose two empires. To say he is a pedophile shows that you go purely off the media. I know what section you are talking about, I suggest you look up the real translation of that section. I never said there weren't parts where war was called for but I found many many more or acceptance, love and kindness to your fellow human. Like I said before it's somewhat pointless to discuss what's in the Qu'ran with someone who hasent read the Qu'ran. I'm not trying to knock you for not reading it either, because it does take time to do it and it's not your religion so why would you bother. If you read it and still feel the same way, you have my full respect and I would weigh your opinion much more heavily. Now many of the countries that we think of as "Muslim" tend to be poorer and immature governments. Thats what happens when the western powers play games like they did. You can deny that all day but history doesn't lie. Those countries we think of as "Muslim" are all in the same parts of the world yet they are only a few of the countries. As far as "wide spread" support of violence, I haven't seen that. Nor have my friends who have served in the army and have been deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Have there been calls for violence...yes I'm not saying that's untrue, but it's not as wide spread as you believe. Those calls are also coming from the same place in the world. You know out of the major religions Islam was one of the most peaceful spread religions...certainly more peacefully spread than Christianity. If you don't believe me, that's fine, I suggest you look up the Umayyad and Abbasid empires. Again I suggest you all read the Qu'ran. From what I see most if not all of you just follow what you see in the media where they show just the few parts that support their narrative.
