  1. Or you can try renaissance wax. Its a great product
  2. Well based on what is put in the media, I can see where you think this. I suggest you read the Qu'ran and formulate an opinion for your self. That way you can formulate a better opinion and if you still believe what you say then you can use specific examples to support your opinion. There is nothing better than knowledge.
  3. Ive heard great things about them...lot of old time hunters used them. My grandfather actually has one...may buy it from him just for pure nostalgia reasons. If your thinking about getting it, just know you'll be getting a great rifle.
  4. The good thing is you'll be out in the woods hunting again, so you have something to take your mind off of it
  5. Indeed RADICAL Islam is not a religion. Im pretty sure everyone but those morons in ISIS would agree with you. But Islam is no matter how you may feel about it.
  6. I keep mine year round. I trim it once a week or two weeks so it stays at a nice level. Haven't clean shaved in almost 2 years (will be 2 years in a month). The girls really seem to like the beard so I wont be shaving it anytime soon.
  7. Pretty much what I do. Helps with keeping form in my opinion
  8. If you look on cabelas they scratched it from the stores map. I was a little sad at first but then I realized that bass pro was coming to Nassau county which is even closer for me and no toll needed to get there.
  9. How can you say he has a black soul when your the one expressing your hate for an entire religion? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Well id like to stay all day, but I have work around the house to do so I may just do a morning hunt. Of course if get a deer ill leave right after that.
  11. Anything over 200 dressed is a darn big deer for these parts. Id go as far and say anything above 185 is respectable. Now where I hunt, id be really happy with a buck that is 185 dressed even 175.
  12. Looks like a burr oak. Not too many of them on the east coast, but also not very high on the deer's list of acorns it prefers. They will eat them though, especially if the acorn crop is bad like its looking this year.
  13. Why do you assume he is a dem just because he calls you out on something or if someone disagrees with you?
  14. I'm guessing the deer hit it hard in addition to lack of rain. Maybe some will come back, but a reseeding wouldn't be a bad idea in the spring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Congrats on the property blur!! Where about's did you end up buying? Honestly removing the dead tree's wont do anything. For the health of the ecosystem you'll actually want to leave dead logs on the forest floor. If you want to encourage new growth you have to remove a few live trees, preferably ones that don't hold much value for wild life like sweet gum.
  16. Personally me I don't like shooting past 30 and wont shoot past 30 on a deer. I know my limitations and don't push them. I shot with a guy about a month ago and man that guy can hit that x out to 50 yards every time and do darn well out to 70. If he says hes willing to shoot out to 50 on a deer I feel bad for any deer with in 50 yards of him.
  17. Both actually. Most of my things are in my pack, but ill put some things in my pocket like a doe bleat can, grunt call and some hand warmers.
  18. Glad you and Jerkman are okay Elmo! Had a bunch of friends with in a couple blocks of the bomb. I thought it was another gas explosion when I first heard the news and not a bomb.
  19. Should get the job done if put in the right spots. You'll hear some crap about the .223 but it does kill deer and its legal so all their talk doesn't do much.
  20. Don't forget to remind him how he'll have these memories his whole life and he'll sometimes want to go back to these days and tag along on a hunt with you. I know I feel the same about the hunts I spent with my grandparents. Every year when the fall foliage is at its peak it brings me back to those times turkey hunting.
  21. I'm actually about to go and hang the stand I plan to be on opening morning. I know its late, but I didn't really have a choice.
  22. Just two for me. My trusty T/C Icon in .30-06 and my Mathews Z7.
  23. Congrats to him! Wonder how big his smile will be standing next to his first deer. Good luck out there this year.
