  1. Oh im not touching that crap. Last thing I need is to deel with that. I was thinking of setting a trail cam up and bringing the pictures to the local authorities.
  2. Same thing on my grandparents property. I let it go last year, but this year if i find it, im going to do something about it
  3. You might have to put a twist in or take a twist out. A pro shop should know what to do
  4. Ill have to look into that. I never really thought about it to be honest
  5. I thought the same, but the more I research it the more I hear people saying they stay all day when they couldnt do that in a tree stand
  6. Just put new strings on my bow last month. I have to put some speed knocks at the bottom by the cam, and then paper tune it. Once I get that done, Ill be all ready. Im thinking of buying a new sight, but that should be easy to set up. Im thinking of hunting out of a tree saddle this year, so im going to start practicing with that.
  7. I have used decoys through out the year with a lot of sucess. The does are usually very timid when it comes to decoys, but will come out to check out a doe decoy. You should place it about 20 yards up wind of you, because the does will circle about 10 yards down wind. I shot my first deer with a bow over a decoy. I personally always use a doe decoy, since a buck will come to it and does wont spook from them really. You'll want to put it in a spot where its the most visable for the area. A decoy doesnt work well if you cant see it. Another trick is to attatch a piece of toilet paper or something white at the tail. ID say in heavy cover, this is going to be very important. Any slight breeze and it'll move, which will catch the attention of a buck. Try looking at the montana decoys, they're a breeze to carry in and work well. I havent used mine very much the last 2 years, but I certainly will use it a lot more this year.
  8. I thought i was the only one haha. The worst part is the drive back
  9. Wish I could. Ill let you know if anything changes though
  10. Use google maps, bing and OnX. I used to use birds eye view all the time, but they got rid of a lot of those pictures so that feature is usless now. OnX is something i don't have expereince with, but ive seen it really help a lot of my friends.
  11. From what i hear, remington really turned things around. I plan on getting a remington V3 and from what I hear, theyre excellent guns.
  12. Never mind I don't know why I didnt realize that you need your phone to go on Instagram
  13. Go out east if you can. Montauk usually does extreemly well. The viking fleet is what my neighbor used to fish and he always came home with monsters. If you cant go out east, I would suggest the south shore, but june is a good month for both shores.
  14. Im a hinderance on what ever river im at lol, but this sounds like a great idea
  15. Sometimes theyre close enough to a feeder creek that runs into another creek that might run into the res. A lot of things go into water quality, which is why they buy what ever they can
  16. Happy birthday guys! A litle late here, but its the thought that counts right lol
  17. From what I read that was most of the battle there. If you have them using the pond already, then you are in good shape. Wish I could help out, but im definitely interested in how this turns out
  18. Ive seen videos on youtube about the pros and cons on the different food plots for ducks. Looks like a fun project. Do you currently duck hunt out of those ponds?
  19. Deer hunting is definitely more popular. I think its a number of things, but its easier to deer hunt in a lot of places than small game hunt. Not too many small game animals to hunt in the areas I hunt, but there are plenty of deer around. I personally like deer hunting the most, but I go enjoy small game hunting after deer season.
  20. I have a switch rod for when I salmon and steelhead fish, but I never use it for its intended purpose. I usually do the chuck and duck meathod. Ive always wanted to try it though, so maybe one day I will.
  21. That sucks. I normally am against crossbows, but i really liked what was in this one. I was definitely in full support this time.
  22. I very rarely fish from a boat, but the last time I went was with my grandfathers boat that he just got (and only took out a few times in total). Took us about 20 tries to back the trailer up to get pick up the boat at the end of the day. Only reason we werent there all night trying was because a nice guy offered to get in the car and do it for us. He probably had enough of watching us fail horribly, than him being a nice guy. Thank god I fish from shore mostly
