Federal likes that sealer. I actually like to see that because I know the primer is sealed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think I'll be lapping the rings so I have better contact with the scope. Thanks for the info though! Might have to borrow a tourqe screwdriver to help with that. Positive side is it gives me an excuse to be at the range haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thats the plan right now. Once season is over I'll be re mounting it completely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh I'm quite confident in my gun right now. Took 8 shots last Friday and all were in the black except one. The last two were in the x ring as well. All my shots were with in 2" but that's including before I adjusted it down. Each group was around 1 MOA. Right now the scope is on and shooting extremely well. That's why I'm not worried. This is all while the scope was moved. I am going to have it re mounted however. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So after I was putting my gun away last Friday after sighting I noticed the scope on my gun actually slid in the scope rings. It was shooting dead on, on Friday so I don't want to mess with it but once the season is over I'm going to have to remount it I guess? My question is what can I do to make sure this doesn't happen. This scope was mounted at dicks a few years ago and I never touched it after (besides sighting in). It also happens to be a rust color. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I sight mine in dead on at 100 yards. I wont be shooting further than that.

Had a doe and 2 fawns came at 7:20 and milled around. No buck with them this time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In the stand now in 3M. Got here an hour later than I wanted to be, but what's done is done. As soon as I got out of my car a doe and 2 fawns came running to me. They got to about 7 yards and just milled around eating. Then out of no where a buck came and ran off the mom and the two fawns followed. Looks like he's been chasing her for a littler, judging by the way she ran. He looked like the one I passed 2 weeks ago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ya its some small orange plug that kind of looks like the handle of a cheap umbrella. You'll only need it if they call a cease fire. From what one of the range officer told me, they're trying to condense rules and make the range more friendly and fun. Id say go and don't postpone, but if your able to go during the week, that would be better. I don't know if it was something special today but there were some really bad shooters out there.

Try to get there early because it was a madhouse when I got there. I got the last spot on the line and the people behind me had to get a rain check. I'm not sure when you were there last but they changed a couple rules. You can now load you magazine with up to 5 rounds, but they will require you to have a barrel plug when they call a cease fire. If you don't have one you have to buy one for 2 bucks. Maybe next time we can meet up and go there together or with a couple guys from here. I was told that place is pretty empty outside of hunting season.

Decided to go to the range instead of the woods today due to the wind. Took 8 shots and I was done. Too 3 was the first group, then he middle was the second group and finally the bottom two was the final group. Tried the 22 but it wasn't the best as the wind was blowing it all over the place. Shot the 12 gauge as well and I forgot how much harder the 12 kicks than my 06. I believe I'm all ready for gun season. I also watched some other people when I was done and i was surprised how bad most of them were. Some brought literally hundreds of rounds and printed them all over the target. Some were bad because the rifle was new and they were just finding the right ammo for it. The pic that shows target number 2 is the guy that was next to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice buck! -
I think it matters more on public land. I will hike to the back of one property just to find the deer 50-100 yards from my car. One of my spots I hunt maybe 30 yards from my car and killed 2 deer and had opportunities at more in the last 2 seasons.

Awesome! Looks like a great time.

I think we're all in for a treat this weekend. The cold temps are spelling out a great weekend with rutting activity Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
