Is 2 weeks enough for people to drop a bunch of money for a crossbow and bow tag?

The way I look at it, we currently have historically low hunter participation numbers...why would we shut down a channel to bring in more hunters. I'm pretty sure we all started it at gun hunters and then decided to try a bow. Crossbow can do the same...eventually people will want to add more of a challenge and switch to a vertical bow. I think at this point we are losing more than gaining. I'll never touch a crossbow if I can draw a bow, but I'm having a hard time telling someone they can't use a crossbow because I feel it's too easy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No way I think the rut will just be kicking then! Its late this year. Scrapes are just opening up in a lot of places and pre rutting activity and light rutting activity is starting to take place.

I've only ever used bolt for deer, but the fast follow up shot of my grandfathers pump 06 is pretty cool.

Saw 3 bucks sparring yesterday and one 8pt buck that came in on a string to 11 yards to a grunt call yesterday. Saw my first scrape of the season and more rubs than last week. Id say solid pre rutting activity. We're like a week or two away from it blowing open.

I think that depends more on the barrel than the bullet. Ive seen barrels that don't foul up at all from barnes and some that foul up pretty bad. If i didnt already have 3 boxes and use 180gr id probably buy a couple boxes from you.

I like WNY have gone away from buying a specific camo type and now am just looking for good material and a quality piece of clothing. I still like to buy real tree but did just as well wearing basic military camo and fleece.
