Seeing the opposite in eastern 3M. Last week the bucks started cruising and 2 weeks ago I saw 4 bucks in one day. I'm thinking this weekend is going to be killer for sure! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice! How many points? -
Don't know how I didn't see this, but welcome! It can be tough but honestly i have found that 9 times out of 10 they are interested in hunting. Of course there are anti's but F them you dont need to explain your selves to them.

Hopefully that crap can be repealed and maybe some lightening of the gun laws in NYC.

3 deer before gun season...your having a good year. Now you can focus on finding that big buck. Congrats by the way. -
While I still don't feel that trump is the right choice (didn't think Hillary was either so don't get panties in a wad), he won the election and we have to back him as a president. As long as he can supports every Americans rights equally, I'll respect him as a president. One thing is for sure, we will definitely see some pro second amend bills being pushed through soon. Voted right after I got out of class at 8. Pretty much figured my vote would not matter in NYC but it is my first presidential election that I can vote in so I went and voted. Definitely would have voted for Kasic if he was on the ballet.

What was the shot angle? One time I shot a fawn and I didn't find a drop of blood until I found the deer. Something clogged up the hole but he only went 40 yards from the shot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They work and work pretty well, but what you need to do is keep the windows open for good ventilation. These products can and do produce carbon monoxide (CO) which im sure we all know is incredibly deadly. As long as everything is well ventilated you should be fine.

I think its just starting to be honest. You'll be into it pretty good this weekend.

Im getting more bucks on cam (6 in one week) but most at night. Only one came in legal light, but he was a real big buck. Maybe ill have a shot at him, but i have a feeling the landowner will get him with his crossbow. All good though...his wife wont be happy about the 600 dollar taxi bill though.

Thats a little weird. Maybe the doe are hanging out in a different part of your property

Took a few hour to reply to me last year.

Probably the best thing you can do. You always want to make sure you loop your scent trail that way the buck has to walk with in range.
-
Well if your a bowhunter you don't want a deer to be right under you or coming right at you. With a gun these are still good shots. Maybe im too picky with my shots with a bow, but I never wanted to have a buck sniffing right where I climbed and have a good chance of no being able to shoot it.

First deer and last deer had the same reaction for me. Hugged and shook my fathers hand, got a few pics and started the real hard work. I still get excited for every deer I take..even a fawn or doe. I think the only Deer I reacted differently was my two biggest bucks. Both had different circumstances that caused me to smile for hours on end.

If you pour it on your feet, they might follow the scent right to the base of your tree. They do have removable felt things that can go over your boot so you can pour the scent on it and then remove it so you don't track the scent right to your stand.
-
Well if you or your father like this deer and want to do it your self just send me a message and ill help out. You'd be surprised how good some cuts like the shank can be. I had some last night and it would rival any backstrap cut.

Hey biz if you guys want to try butchering your own deer id have no problem showing you guys how to do it. Should take no more than 2 hours for the whole deer.
