Pool, Mrs and I still use it all the time 20:years later , the daughter that’s local comes over a lot as well . Hot Tub , first got a Hot Springs in ‘98 small cracks of the top,of shell 2,003 they gave me a new one, still running strong ! Was in it last night , smoked a cigar for a couple hours . Daughters use it whenever they’re here , I’m in it several nights a week . Buckmaster , good post , I don’t have an ATV, snowmobile, expensive boat, motorcycle or other rapidly depreciating asset , in 31 years I’ve owned three bows, my guns are low end box store packages and the scope that comes with it is fine by me . I’d gouge my eye out with a broken Timex before I’d drop a grand on a scope , but knives and watches well that just makes sense .
-
I’d be in for Canada , I’ve paid the tuition of many a dancers at the Sundowner , back in the day .
-
So one day I was talking with our youngest , I said ,” all one generation wants is for the next to achieve a bit more .” She replied ,” well you didn’t set the bar to high ! “ God I, love that kid !

The beauty is, I had the time even when working to use my above ground 10 times more then either of the nephews get to use theirs . Although it’s nice to visit them ....

Pools like watches run the gamut in price , here’s my little above ground, one nephews basic built in and another’s with waterfall, outdoor kitchen etc .

To late for both boards i usually get in on , so I’m up $120 ! Oh and these boards all have different numbers for each quarter, which is nice . -
Wow, the stick seems to be full extended, so the guy has to come to them , then they can raise it , I give credit to the guy on the window ledge . Talk and being stuck between a rock and a hard place !

Oh ya , I know many in the town hunt, and now anyone with two acres I believe can bow hunt it . I know one guy who took 22 doe and a slammer buck one year , just this is a bit removed from where I know they are . Ive posted these before this summer my buddy’s yard

Very few know one of my watches from the other , neither of my sisters or their families know what I own . Speaking of Casio my brother in-law , three homes in three states , new Vette every couple, years , 40k into his train set ..... bought five Casio’s on eBay as they discontinued his favorite watch so he stocked up . Blue jeans ,colored T with pocket ,New Balance , and Casio , you’d never know .

I should never doubt you , I figured that was from growing trough the fence, guess it is a browse line , took this pic today . The town is overrun with deer , but I didn’t realize where this house is there was much of an issue .

I gotta disagree here, mine keeps time very well . I know a number of guys with Rolex, a number of them blue collar guys , a welder, a handful of Firemen , all wear them on the job , all have held up fine . I know one guy who sent his in for servicing and he owned it many more years then 3 , mines 7 years old and rock solid . Heres one of my Hamilton , May be more of a sport look then what you want, I don’t use the bracelet any more I rock it on a Zulu strap, although I have a leather strap, black with red stitching that matches nice too . Id love to get. yacht master II , but at 44mm and no curved lugs ,just to big
-
My short answer would be Omega , 40mm ha , a fellow small wrist guy ? Grand Seiko is nice too but at your upper limit , I really like Hamilton’s ( I have 3 ) but a much lower price point then your looking for . The Rolex Forum has a large for sale area of all brands, you can get like new and grey market Rolex’s for good prices . Funny story , Mrs Nomad asks “ why are you going to the bank “, me , “ I’m buying a Rolex off a guy in California.” Her ,” you’re send thousands of dollars to a guy in California and hoping he sends you a watch !? “ me , “ No , I’m depositing thousands right into his bank account , and hoping he sends me a watch ! “ Not sure where you got your diamond , I have a guy who’s a diamond broker , I get VS, VVS and so on for about 1/3 of what a jeweler sells them for . In case any local guys are interested , but I gotta personally know you to give the referral.

Bingo the eight others are just a footnote , I’ve never understood why I should care more for the loss of a celebrity , then a bus driver or ditch digger ,actually I put the death of a soldier well above a guy who’s good at bouncing a ball .
-
They’re growing into a chain link fence , that’s why they look like that. Although the town does have a well known deer problem, but the neighborhood is between Lake Ontario and the River, and bit away from the deer .

Cheers ,Jerry !

Youngest , just bought this house , closes in a few weeks, then not moving in for a couple more . So in the time between closing and moving in , my electrician buddy and I will, swap out some worn switches, two prong plugs, add lights and switches to garage and basement, GFI ‘s to bathrooms , hang a ceiling fan and perhaps a TV mount . He’s never taken one penny from me for work, although I’ll try to force some cash on him this time . Then I’ll clean and paint washroom side of basement , swap out a couple leaking faucets add some shelves as well . Oh I’ll add new locks, and reinforce the jams , with a mortised in six inch striker plate , with six four inch screws , really makes doors much much harder to force . First and second floors all hardwoods, some just refinished , the rest were in good shape after carpet was recently removed , fresh paint in most rooms as well . Kitchen not bad , a new counter top ,backsplash added and drop on a laminate floor would make it pop,for little $$ . Finished part of basement needs to be redone , at some point too . In the summer I’ll add widow wells and regrade two sides of the house for proper drainage, oh and it could use fresh paint on the exterior, front mostly needs some sanding, priming and painting , but I’ll ,do whole house , or hire someone haven’t decided. Could use more soffits and insulation too this I’m thinking of hiring out . Fiancé is moving in with her , but he’s starting a new skilled trades job that includes some work in Buffalo and also two nights of schooling per week , so I don’t mind doing the work as he’ll be pretty busy , plus his Dad is some sort of contractor, who said he’ll come up for two weeks and work on it . One could just move in as it is , bought from original owners, was built in ‘61, solid and clean ,just needs a few updates . The carpet is gone in living room pic and hardwoods refinished. Ya know a deer head would look good over that fireplace ....

I have a red dot on mine, was ok for shooting in the yard on sunny days , when I shot my buck in the woods early AM , the dots were all blurry ,( I use readers , but not hunting ) I kept moving closer and back trying to get a clear sight picture , finely said F it and just put the blurry dot on the deer. Since , in my research I’ve read of guys using the lowest power readers ,with their red dot scopes, try it with your scope .
