Card, pull ( thread in trail cam pics) , shed hunt, general walk around today . Found two turkey kill sites, a splitting wedge in a turned up corn field , one Mylar ballon .

Two sets of bucks fighting , a ton of bucks, only posted a few, lots of turkeys . Really this is a small sample ,the bigger ones have not turned up on camera for the most part .

Ha I don’t know , I think it’s a bit off though . We have a brand new union hall seats about 200, bar, full commercial kitchen . I can rent it for $300, hire a couple bartenders, a caterer and be out of there for a few grand , but no.... She said at my retirement party she would not want it there ! I had well over 100 at my party between booze and catered BBQ about $30 a man .

Ya the CPA in Buffalo is currently available . Water skier , snowboarder, world traveler , pistol owner .

I’ve seen them for sale in shops in the ADK, for high prices , hoping to find some rich dude looking to decorate his a ADK summer place I guess .

I’m there every 12 days with my former crew from work . Between the night shift, days off , day shift , their last day of the day shift is every 12 days .

What !? I’m a cross between Gandhi and Geo Clooney with hunting land , what’s not to love ? I even set him up, with my diamond guy, to save him some cash , and I don’t just refer any jamoke ,hell i might even give him a Dmap and my fourth best stand if he takes up hunting .

All went well, breakfast was almost over, when he worked up the courage to ask . I didn’t leave him hanging welcomed him to the family right away , we drove together to the house so we could talk more . Lot of changes , he lives a little bit away and now is moving here, plus new house , and he just got a new job, a Union trade job , some travel and has to take courses a night . Plus now I’ll have a house to, paint , regrade some land, add and change some outlets , add insulation to attic ....... We’ll see if he becomes a hunter , think he’s open to, it though .

Oldest daughter is buying her first house , engineer inspection is tomorrow. Prior to, that her BF and I are having breakfast ,where he’s going to ask permission to marry her . My county DA said she won’t prosecute a Safe Act only violation. I do know a young man getting jammed up ( felony charges ) in another county, in some hick counties , getting a felony charge is a big deal for the cops there , who ,otherwise would be arresting chicken thieves and such . Other places they don’t have time for busting a regular guy for a couple extra rounds, or drop free mags. FWI cops can’t count the rounds in your mag on a normal traffic stop and such courts tossed that a few years back .

Forums like this killed books for me, can only read in little bits now . Thoreau’s Walden Pond ,was the last book I read as far as I can recall , and I only remember that because that book was a struggle for me .

I don’t know squat about coyote hunting , the 8-10 I’ve shot over the years have all been from a deer stand . I was talking to the land owner the other day, it’s a very large farm , spread over a couple of towns and he knows tons of hunters in the area . He feels there’s so many guys hunting them with calls in the area,that they’re well educated now . He just sits quietly dawn and dusk, others trap them .

I’ve watched more football this year then all others combined lol. Happy for the Bills and their fans, but my nephew in Nashville is naturally a Titan fan, years ago his nextdoor neighbor was one of their QBs. He gave him a players pass, so he parked ,tailgated and sat with the players families. Hes building a Lake house and offered it up to my wife and I ( I’m a passionate water skier ,he’s buying a new ski boat too ) and said my daughter and BF can use it when the Bills play there next year as well, as they’re going to that game. So I’m fast becoming a Titan fan !

My neighbor makes a very good living, selling those things at guns shows, biker shows outdoor shows and so on. Tables of bore lights ,picks, cheap fanny and day packs ,para cord, T shirts, knives and so forth . So much that he bought a factory in China , to cut out the middle man .
