    I actually like to shovel early in the season , good outdoor exercise as long as it’s not wet heavy stuff . As the year rolls on , it looses its luster .

    Also older ones don’t have the rubber paddles that fill the space between the auger and the chute . You can add them pretty easily .

    I just did “ Smart Ride “ ,you plug the unit into, your car, and it looks at four things , miles driven after midnight , hard stops/starts, minutes in stop and go, traffic , miles driven . We’re getting a 24% reduction ,that was easy, left the Subaru in the garage and drove the truck .....

    I may coyote hunt , this is the first deer season in years I didn’t shoot one from my stand, but I spent very few hours on it . So I may just hop in one with my deer gun and see, I may even sit in one of the huts at night, the new one boarders a field they’re always in , heater, cigar ,office chair , about my speed .

    I like that! The thought of a few mile ride in a metal boat , before sunrise, with temps in the teens, not so much .

    Oh I understand , I didn’t want to,go,out on a Johnboat with a PFD on , but Jay asked about dropping his gun overboard ,which made me think Jay thought he hunts from it .

    Friend called last night wanted to know if I wanted to go out on his boat duck hunting the Bay this morning . Let’s see 17 degrees ,out on a boat, and oh ya I’d have to get up at idk 4:30 , to shoot a duck . Its 9am and I haven’t put on shoes yet ......

    I wonder if you can get it put on at the Monroe county clerks office ? EDIT : per MC pistol permit office , nope ! I bought a Glock under the Blue Label program from a shop in Bergin, 45 minutes away ,then back to MC permit office ,back to Bergin, back to home . My savings was $100 and change , a good three plus hours . Depends how much time you have I guess .

    Good year, nice buck with the crossbow Nov 2nd , left two weeks to stay out of the woods before gun . Dropped a decent 7 opening day evening . Didn’t hunt with my daughter or Joe as much as I’d like to . From my DEC bow log 26 hours on stand , gun idk 4 ? Each year my drive drops a little more .

    I have three large ladders and one medium one with those mesh seats / chairs . They’ve all held out great, ok one the stitching failed, a known defect in a batch and they ( different brand ) sent me two replacement seats , a ton of leaf wraps, and some hang on pouches . I really like them ,in cold weather use a large seat cushion , the air goes right through the mesh .

    Last night with the fellas , I had Scotch Ale and a Mosaic Cream Ale, as well as bringing a growler of that home . Bought three nice Genny winter hats , there was a long line of people buying two and three hundred dollars worth of Genny clothes and gear . Our two favorite gals were behind the bar, it’s nice when I walk in and they come straight to me ,with a beer, before I can say a word .

    I’m giving it serious consideration , I said I’d pick up Pygmy as well . My questions are where are people staying ? I have no,problem booking a hotel , if I don’t hook up at the bar , I think Phoenix might be Stormy’s sister ! Also if a group is coming from Buff. We should caravan if not car pool ? My time is wide open as far as travel .

    So at the party one of my former crew says, “ he works 30 years on a ladder truck, climbing and working off ladders in all kinds of weather ,cutting holes in roofs of burning buildings , retires and the next day asks me to come over and spray a moss ,killer on his roof .” Lol he’s right ! Last few years it became harder , balance and strength dropped ,joints hurt , range of motion shrunk, old age isn’t for the weak !

    Ya no biggie I’m fine , night time , didn’t see ice at bottom of driveway . I fell harder off a hover board at our Christmas party last Friday , the ice then was in a glass ....
