Interesting the differences guys have experienced. They did “ my “ woods maybe ten years ago, no tops left didn’t really mess the woods up at all . It did open up areas where the sunlight could reach the ground and created some nice new browse , but nothing one couldn’t still walk through . Their road they made beacme a nice trail for the deer to,walk .

In my youth you couldn’t walk ten foot in a woods around here without stepping on a Cream Ale can . All my Grandfather drank, out of a Pilsner glass btw . Right and right . I’m one song away from Dicks, yet haven’t shopped there since as well . A 12 ga never needs to be run dry either , Fire 2 or 3, 00 buck , and stuff a couple more in as you go . Although for many ,especially kids who haven’t shot much an AR will be easier to,tote and shoot, with less reloading , myself I shoot 12ga a lot and many slugs and boxes of 00, and practice tactical reloads and swapping slugs for 00 mid way through a tube of 00.

Plus that way, a few AR’s and Standard capacity mags, can go “off the books “ and into the ATF guys trunks ....

That would be mid sized , on the farm . Nice find , I’m always checking CL for odd ball things to turn into stand and huts, I’d give him a grand if it was easy to split it into two stands . I know a guy around Italy Hill, who has Aircraft maintanece stands, think of those stairs/platforms you wheel around store like Lowe’s , But heavy duty with a 4x4 foot platform at top . Just awesome stands.close to,this.

I don’t know how this plays to serious whiskey drinkers , but I really enjoy this ! Smooth and light, I really like it .

I hope to ease into our Southern stays over the winter, starting with one month. My parents started off going after Christmas to end of March, towards the end they were gone from after Thanksgiving to May 1st ! Makes sense ,why stay here among the gloom if you don’t have to. Id need many many hands to count all our friends and family who bought 2nd or 3rd homes or just moved completely down South .

It’s not bad I’d drink it again, and I’m not one for a fruity taste, but the Ruby Red, is understated . 4.8% . Last night at euchre , a 20 something y/o brought some, seemed to go,over well.

In the ‘80s when I worked for a safe manufacturer, the Chinese were knocking off our patented models . Its very hard to stop and costly to move through the court system even if you can figure out just who over there is doing it . You might even win , but nothing will change .

Speaking of dying ..... One year ago I did not care one way or another about Xbows, but I just joined NYS Crossbow Coalition, Said I was referred by Doc, Belo and Stormy thanks for getting me motivated guys , although you cost me $120, but that’s just a start I got plenty more $ and time to give .

The camels nose is under the tent , it’s just a matter of time. Add in the aging bow hunters and it’s a sure thing eventually. At age 50 the number of bow hunters is 50% of the number who,hunted at age 40. Why is that , at an age when money and free time has increased , yet half drop out ? We get weaker , body parts don’t function like they used to, so,the bow gets hung up and we loose more hunters . Oh sure there’s always a few like Doc and Fast Eddie that made it to,the top of the pyramid, but many of us have or are close to,dropping out way before that age though . Some say, “let the older guys use them “, then arbitrarily throw our age 60, the trouble is that’s a good ten years late . Losing 50% by age 50 means we’ve lost many in their late 40’s reality is you’d have to drop 60 down to 45 . I can hear the uproar now .

I tried to stay with methods I recall from the Bible, I left out floods , pestilence and famine as to extreme, a largely a waste of meat .

Which BTW now has a “ nanny cam “ On the bottom of the letter my wife’s nephew ( attorney ) will be CC in along with the Buffalo Housing council , just in case later on he tries to get “cute .” Myself I would have quietly taken boots, coat and purse and left ....... I love you guys as your knowledge in that field exceeds mine and try to learn from you guys . when we go for fumes or co the first question I ask the tenant is if any work was down recently, and if the landlord or his buddy did it as they’re mostly hacks .

Storm did you read my post ? Reason stated in the letter she received was “ improper notice “ not damage . Our conversations with her reinforced that claim . Actually this landlord doesn’t do a written walk through inspection prior to and after move out, which would be necessary to prove damages , which isn’t the claim but I added that for your own information on how things work legal wise . Its fairly common for scummy landlords to try and keep part or all of S.D. Of young folks as they think they won’t pursue it. It’s almost SOP in collage towns as the kids move away after . Any apartment my kids rent are improved, as first thing I do is add smoke and CO det. Reinforce door jam and lock area, get stuck windows working again, fixed a drain in the tub and so on .we did ask the guy to repair wall damage and clean stove on move in day , pics attached. See I document everything I feel is or MAY become an issue at some point .

I like to poke fun at the shots to,hits ratio from time to time myself, in the Greece NY case the distance was 30 yards and both officer and man with the rifle were moving at the time , in the dark as well.

First off I know there are as many bad tenants as landlords, I’ve delt with 100’s of both , but most of my difficulty at work comes from the landlord/ owner side. But I digress.... Daughter one gives written notice of not renewing and follows up with a phone call, they hold back half of security deposit for, improper notice. Since letter and check came to our house , I called landlord , and explained she gave proper notice and in fact I read it as she wrote it on our kitchen counter. She just says well they lost half a months rent trying to rerent it, I remind her that she gave proper notice and I’ve aways had a good relationship with her husband, which she doesn’t get, so I tell her I inspect their two buildings .... she asks for a couple days to discuss with said husband , well 9 days passed no check so daughter is filling in small claims Monday. Number two calls last night from Buffalo, landlord was to make repairs yesterday . Well a roommate came home to find a woman’s designer handbag and coat in kitchen along with a pair of woman’s boots, then she sees her bedroom door is closed.... she tries to open it but landlord is on other side holding it closed..... he’s inside with some woman doing you know what. He tries to say she helps with drywall LOL ! I ask number two if landlord is married ? “ yes.” , “ well looks like your rent is going to get cut in half !”
