I love 'em like wearing slippers ! Only water proof and much higher . Easy on and off toss them on the driveway and hose them down after the hunt , good to go.

27 years of now hunting , two bows. A Golden Eagle Turbo Hawk for the first 18 or so and now one from Hoyt's cheaper line it starts with an R I believe .

Fire fighter . Probably the best job for a hunter ! The best thing about the job is the work schedule the worst thing about the job is the schedule .... You'er going to work nights week ends and holidays , if your wife is "clingy " and can't spend night home alone it s not for you, same for missing games bdays and holidays . But working 15 days a month and being able to hunt during the day the 7 or 8 days you'er on nights means 22 or 23 days of hunting a month . I'm blessed and retiring in two years !

G-man that's really good! There are some cut corn fields on the next farm over I was thinking about walking , now I'm sure I'll hit them soon !

We use tic at work of course. I'd like to see the phone ones in person to,compare . With ours one can place his hand on a wall for two seconds and that hand print will be visable to the tic for minutes . I can't imagine the phone ones having the range or sensitively of ours but then ours are high 4 and low 5 figures. And yes every year guys ask to borrow the spares around hunting season ...... Not going to happen . From what I just read not the camera for distance , fine detail or temp ranges. Seems very limited in the woods.

Years back there was some kind of "movement" where men went on some sort of retreat, banged on drums and talked about their issues and problems. I always thought toss the drums buy a gun and go to deer camp.....

Yes controversy. In case you did not know gun control is controversial , minor level entertainers stand to lose a lot more than the big names so he did what he thought would harm him the least , bow out and avoid further controversy of supporting gun control. Country music is the largest genre out there. This corporate county is not for me but it generates money more than any other music form. -
A run of the mill opening act with a few albums and top ten hits under his belt, the very type who's career can't weather controversy .

A celebrity supporting gun control who would have thunk it ? Btw the Dixie Chicks , who I liked very much and have seen in concert had two albums out when they slammed the U.S. while on foreign soil . McGraw is many levels ahead of where they were and his transgression won't be viewed as anywhere near what they did.

i got a Savage 11 in .270 with Nikon scope for a little over $400. It was in stock at Bierkirchs at the time. I'm a righty who shoots left, as it's my master eye and a bit stronger .

Might make sense if one replaces a truck with it. Not me though my car gets 25 mpg I fill up every couple weeks , gas cost is not a factor in my life . That 5 mile trip to,town ( say 10 round trip) will cost you less than $1.50 in gas in your truck . The 3 wheel thing costs 7 grand plus ins. Reg. maintenance . Even driving it 100 miles a week saves only 15 bucks week in gas. The plus side is nobody would find your hunting spot if you parked that along the road where you walk in....

I'm a knife guy, I have a Blade magizine with a custom made knife for Willie on the cover. I got him to sign the photo of the knife, got him to come rright off his tour bus , when it was Parked in downtown Roch. A number of years ago. No chance to light up though .....

Friend just showed me his camera set up on his sump pump, via his cell. Lodge tech, they run off your wireless and they have outside cameras too. You log onto their site and view your camera then "draw" a line around an area of your choosing, anything that moves inside that area you get a text.

Doc here are two balloons I found on my last shed hunt. I swear my spot must be under some main flight path for these things , right where they start to drop. I find some each year, the ones caught in branches you can see from a long ways off, at first I often think it's a person in the woods," hey there's someone in blue over there .....

In the beginning of. Oct. Mine says " see you around Christmas". Did I marry her because she lets me hunt? No but knowing I could do as I please was a big part of it . We could not go on a honeymoon after our marriage because I used up, my vacation time canoeing in the Yukon couple months the prior . I recently bought a Rolex , she was mildly pissed for half a day. Hey when you'er the trophy husband you get some perks !

Eddie there is some truth in that. When we reached the point where we could leave our girls home alone for the hour or two between when I left for "nights" and the wife came home i did this . I left my sandals , a gun magazine and a beer can or two on the patio by the door. The dogs lead was chained by the other door,

That really sucks. I have done most of the common things, reinforced jams ,outside lights, alarm system stickers ( real,ones not fakes from online). For advanced warnings you can put up driveway alarms. When someone goes past them it rings a chime inside. When my daughter was in college and lived in a crappy area I put up fake outside cameras . You just don't know today if they'er real of fake but a real system is not expensive either.

I get that , to me a cigar can't be rushed. A chair , camp fire, my dog , some whiskey at my hut in a farm field is perfect. I can't smoke one while doing something . Golf , fishing and so on.

I smoke them. I always say that our hot tub is my most expensive cigar accessory ! I would say I try to smoke one at work when on nights ( fireman) but that's against rules and regs.
