I have one friend who always faces the tree with his climber,he sits on the rail uses trunk to hide behind. He,takes nice bucks bow and gun most years .

Well I hunt right around the corner from that place.... A few shots here and there opening morning not to bad. He's on a route many take from Naples area back up to Rochester and suburbs and really not to far to go back for pick up. Plus great farm hunting for miles around him. Hey wait I own land there and hunt a multi thousand acre farm there...the hunting Sucks stay away. I took a deer there once had a farm DMAP on it ,the woman started yelling," He's got the wrong tag on it" over and over.

Always, I prefer Allen Edmonds though so the laces are always first class.They come with kinda pinkish storage /travel bags!

Don't tell them but today when I got home from hunting I sat in the hot tub !

Never cut up a deer could not car less to learn. I have hunted out of tents in 6 degree temps. and wadded through deep snow all day up and down mountains. I have also killed them 75 yards from parking lots here in Webster listening to kids playing outside and lawn mowers. So if I drag a deer off the mountain ,which takes the better part of a day, but have it processed I'm a wimp, but the one that I kill 75 yards from my car In the burbs as long as I cut it up myself I'm a skilled manly hunter? To funny. $70 bucks,sorry it's not a lot to me. Visited the kids a few nights back went out to eat,basically burgers,wraps and so on couple beers. With tip $100 for the 4of us. I did not cut up the cow either....

Pro cut ?

I went this AM to my one stand that is seldom windy,busted big one on walk to stand could smell him as I passed ,he stunk bad. Tomorrow 20 or high teens! Oh boy. I ll be between cut corn and Timothy field with cover near both. Then I start working nights....

One time a day first thing in the morning. 60 seconds tops most of that washing . One and done.

All 3 of us passed deer, I don't shoot does opening day, bucks all young. Our posted private managed land had trespassers for the first time in years . Couple young kids this morning,never caught up,with them although saw their truck. Kids came back this afternoon,stayed on their side although on boarder saw me changed course 45 degrees....looked like he was going to cross over where he did in the morning till he saw me. Land owner had a talk with them,but not caught in act,I lost PM hunt going after them.... I'll be talking to land owner who's land they " hunt " , his land is as open as a golf course. Soon as I get their plate number it ll get interesting....

Love em. Last for 20 minutes kinda helps with boredom,been kind of a lucky charm for me as well. Good luck

I got married on Nov. 4th many many years ago. At that time I did not bow hunt,for some reason I took it up next year though......

Bubba, you know it. Guys post photos of where they hunt some complete with roads,,what days they are hunting or working, photos of the "big ones" . It's only a matter of time.

Great job! I used to camp and hunt the plains year ago,nice camping never took a deer!

Mine may have been built at work,but I'll deny that. Brought down whole on a landscape trailer. I love it I can sleep in it on cot, cook on my Jet Boil, and I guess shoot a deer from it. Yesterday I was getting dressed by my car parked in front of it as a 2 1/2 walk by..

Sorry for bad pic. Only one I got. 4x8 box blind tall enough to,stand change clothes and so forth. In the summer I camp out of it. The farmer was going to put it up on phone polls for me, but I like it as more of a base camp, and I have moved it and will again if need be. Now his if 16x16 with deck up,on phone polls.....

That does suck. Fact is there are thieves of all strip. Don't leave your lap top in your car,or your wallet in the gym locker,and yes my buck hangs in the garage . I know a guy who slept outside with his buck at the cabins in Letchworth out of fear of theft.

Nice evening .lets see getting dressed next to car in field,decent buck crosses in front of me and shiney red car about 40 yards away.... Walk to edge to trim out a gun stand I just moved and a giant pushes a doe out of thicket into cut corn. Ok trimming out lanes with hand saw,Zuba,Zuba,Zuba, and another buck crosses out of hardwoods into thicket maybe 50 yards from me. Hum liking this new stand spot for gun. Walk on to stand I'm using there is the giant chasing the doe with an unknown hanging back. On stand nothing,seemed like just one hot doe causing all the fuss. Think I'm calling it till gun.
