Well nothing beats the old stuff, no tech and batteries, but my phone has a compass and just go on the maps and show your location exact location... Nice collection and story

The DEC needs to stop dealing out DMPs like its a Friday night poker game,, I cant tell you the numbers of button bucks Ive seen shot over the years that where assumed to be does along with the large numbers of does harvested by single hunters which in turn would of resulted in an increased population of 1 1/2 bucks the following year .. Not saying DMPS are not needed but the numbers of anterless tags that are issued by the DEC is careless IMO..

I would give up the pool day and spend the weekend doing the work yourself then take the spoils and buy yourself a new hunting toy with the money you were going to give away,, that type of work is about as easy as it gets....

I would rent a piece of equipment , 84 payments and the tractor is going to lose its fun appeal very quick, using a machine and the up keep doing work is going to turn into not fun real quick also no matter the money you think it will yield... Not to metion no 4 wheeler and when your wife needs a new vehicle or something else comes up your screwed,, Just my two cents,, if the wife Is giving you resistance now wait 60 months for the told you so .... Sounds like you looking for an excuse to spend a lot of money for a new toy to solve a problem that renting a piece of equipment will solve and save your family a lot of money and grief JMO.. Sometimes us cavemen think backwards I know I've been guilty..

I hunt four different properties all in similar but different areas within 30 miles from each other, I have hunted these religiously for 15 to 20 years and the same thing occurs year after year... Undestanding how the deer move through the property can take time and trial and error but once you figure it out they rarely change their behavior...

I lost my wedding ring also years ago at work it slipped off my finger and never was able to recover,,, a lot of lost time with my kids when they where younger..

I don't see the problem with this,, some guys just don't have the resources to find good hunting spots in there area and it's getting tough where Im at for sure,,, getting a willing hunter in the woods is really the important thing in my mind just another tool in the box,,, most won't use but one might ...

I started to watch a bit of it the other night but just couldn't find it believable... when they raided the camp in Georgia and they where at the camp behind and just got out in the nick of time on the back road was just a little much for me...

I stopped snowmobiling up there years ago but when I did they uaed to feed the deer on the trail at the Sportsman just down the road from the Highmarket inn and 50 to 75 deer would be out eating whatever it was they were feeding them like clock work and this was well after hunting season ended Im not sure if this still happens as it was 10 plus years ago ..

I hunt in Madison county 7J and the number of rifle shotgun shots I hear during bow season always make me wonder ? Seems most of what I hear is right before last light ,, point is morals come with the hunter, laws are meant to be broken...

Spinning records or whatever it is these days has nothing to do with shoveling snow, I'll bet if it was green it may be a different story

Yeah I agree ..... It was on the news that the strain that was going around my area wasn't the strain the flu shot covered,,,,, so useless ......

I didn't realize it but wasn't up to par for about a week had a backache between my shoulder blades thought that was unusual and chalked it up,to being tired the next week I got the flu and lasted just over two weeks just getting back to normal never had the flu shot never will ,, was pretty bad on me this year every bone in my body ached.. ughhhhh... Glad to be feeling good again....
