  1. Happy Birthday Bubba and Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year also!!
  2. The one other option he would have is apply for a modified archery permit and this would allow him to use the device that attaches to his compound bow and keeps it set at full draw and there is trigger release that is pressed to fire the bow. I have a modified archery permit and use it when crossbows aren't legal to use for deer. You can find more about the Draw-Loc at Hickory Creek Archery.com and they have some you tube vids also. You will need to get forms for your doctor to fill out and that gets sent to Albany to get approval for your permit. This might help if he wants to go out for Oct.1 opener. Hope this info helps.
  3. Didn't see anything during bow season, first time in years that has happened. I did get 6pt. opening day of gun season in southern zone, so I did get some meat in the freezer. Trail cam pics were mostly at night. Things just seemed different this year.
  4. What model washing machines were they....the "I can't breath" or "Don't shoot" models??
  5. Congrats and great job!!
  6. My blind in southern tier on my friends property looks like a cow sat on it.
  7. Bunch of SCUMBAGS....and to the ones that put a bounty on the police officer who was only protecting himself...you are terrorists and should be dealt with AS A TERRORIST...low life scumbag losers...everyone of them.
  8. Its supposed be 50 on Sunday and 55 on Monday and their talking rain and flooding problems. A lot of melting will be going on so much of it will be gone.
  9. Thanks for the tip, was still bit groggy yesterday from the go to sleep meds. Going put the chili on hold till I get healed up. Sure feeling the hurt today. OUCH is an understatement.
  10. Came home from hospital today after hernia surgery, just glad it's over and surgery went well. I won't be doing much for few weeks while I heal, so I'm going make some nice dinners from 6 point I got opening day. Luck was with me cause that was the only day I could get out and first thing I'm going make is some "spicy hot" venison chili....YUM!!
  11. Shot this 6 pt. at 7:45 am this morning in 9m in Machias. Came down behind 4 doe that were other side of fallen tree but he was on side of me for a clear broadside shot. Went about 45 yards down ravine and piled up. Using my .270 Remington shooting 130 gr. Winchestor. Was happy to get him as this was my only day to get out due to hernia surgery this Monday.
  12. Best of luck to all. And be safe!!
