  1. I doubt they’d repeat. Some kind of prorated deal but end of year testing will be chaos.
  2. My FIL is in a local assisted living facility and somewhat needy. My wife was visiting him 2-3 days a week, it's going to be difficult no doubt.
  3. I’ve never seen one in NYS while in the woods. I may have seen one in Pennsylvania at one point but I’m foggy on that. Yes, weird critters.
  4. No, near where I bow hunt a few miles north of your place.
  5. Many years ago I was running and gunning in the southern tier right at the end of May. I finally located a gobbling bird; he wouldn’t budge so I snuck in as close as I dared and he still wouldn’t budge. I backed way out and figured I’d sneak around the bastard......THEN as I circled around I spotted a house. Mr Tom Turkey was a “kept” bird, living his life inside a big old pen. I walked away, shaking my head. Lol
  6. Dig those sunglasses.......!!
  7. Put in 2.5 hours Sunday and got blanked........(had a GREAT time in the woods though!)
  8. Oh boy.....I'm 29 in my house!
  9. Don't and won't own a bathrobe..........but if I did, would.
  10. If that happened today, you had way more fun than I did. LOL That's awfully cool, dogpatch is ON the map!!!!
  11. Hey that looks great Chris, glad to pass it along. I gave Taco Tim some that day also........I'm confident he'll come up with something special and also knock it out of the park I have to add, later that same day, Andrew (TreeGuy) gave me a dandy size Ziploc bag of yellow perch. We had them the next evening for dinner and they were delicious. It's nice to give AND receive!!
  12. I’m thinking he is joking....... but I’m good at reading into things.
  13. Since Jim sold his company 17 years ago, what has he been doing? Who created all the success AFTER 2003?
  14. “A few” is three.......just saying. lol
  15. Picked up a pie tonight, talked to Mike for 10 minutes. I bet it'd be a good place for a young buck to work!!
  16. And you learned it all from working at Main & Mill !!
  17. Dude, you ROCK!! I gotta say, there's some good looking grub here and yours always is at the top of the heap.
  18. They sure are cool critters. In December I had one cross Rt 20 in Darien during daylight hours as I was coming home from a late season hunt.
  19. Had some stupendously good perch last night, gifted to me by the “Babe Winkleman” of Alden, Andrew D. Known here as Treeguy. We only have 10-12 meals a year of locally caught fresh feesh. Wish I could get more.......
  20. 35 years ago an archery shop in Hemlock NY (on Rt 15A) was closing......My buddy Tom and I went there and bought 4 used Bitzenburger jigs, each one came with right and left hand clamps. Then the shop owner brought out BAGS of full length (REAL) barred and solid colored right and left hand feathers. We left with some great bargains.......the jigs with clamps were $20 each. I don't recall what we paid for the feathers.
