I just applied for the elk drawing; regular season bull and late season antlerless. 12 accumulated points over the years but I haven't applied for 4-5 years for lack of interest. I can blame (or hopefully thank) Tacks for the kick in the ass.............

I filled out many of those in the past and as far as I know, they are only for the antlerless deer drawing. If you're not planning on hunting deer, just round file them.

I have a 300WSM and I enjoy it, only killed an elk and some deer with it and the results were more than adequate. What game have you used your 325 on ?

And all that parked in what looks to be a handicapped spot.

Had a change of plans today as I planned on doing some shooting but fields that hadn't been mowed due to being wet forced a plan "B". Two of my friends grandsons and one son in law decided to hit an "old Faithful" type farm pond after lunch today. The hay field was way over the head of the 6 year old but he marched his way in after we beat the trail down a bit, just chomping at the bit to get fishing. Things went good for all of us and we landed a Ford Ranger sized load of largemouth and a handful of sunnys and bluegills. Pygmy might recognize the jig here..... Mix a couple youngsters and some water/mud and you know they'll be into it....... On the way out the 6 year old said "dad, I need a lift" LOL........

Going to shoot today at my friends place, check cameras etc. Tomorrow have a family party in Rochester. No firm plans to fish but don’t bet against it. Lol

LOL......I've read a few of Chapstick's books and enjoyed them all. My sophistication level on African hunting could certainly use a tune up of sorts with the books mentioned above. The damn well better have lots of pictures.....................

Hey Bob, that's quite a set up you're offering. IIRC that Omega bag can be removed and the frame can be used to haul quarters? Great option........ I had a Camp Trails McKinley (SP?) that was similar and very versatile. About the tent; I've had a couple Eureka! tents over the years and still have one, my 6 man Timberline Outfitter. Great stuff here from an even better guy!
