What do you think is the best rifle ever made?

If I wanted one and that was the "going" price, absolutely. -

I had a Browning Safari 30-06 I sold a couple years ago. IIRC it was from the early 60's, pre salt wood and it was a really cool gun. -
Wife and I ate at Lebro's tonight. She had a salad, I had a burger(that right there is why most men die before their wives) and we brought a fish fry home for Jr. A couple Sam Adams Cold Snap washed mine down. A decent beer........

Both of those follow the Ultra Light Arms Model 20.........closely though. -
Crap........any cake left? Happy Birthday guys, sorry I was asleep at the switch.

Just mainlined a Woodcock Bros Redhead when I got home, boy do I enjoy them. Now I'm enjoying a Evan Williams Single Batch Vintage on the rocks with a couple drops of cherry juice. Easy as pie..........

I get the dry heaves when I have to pick up a couple/few new diaphragm calls. Back in 1981 I learned on a Quaker Boy Old Boss Hen and a Pro Triple. The PT didn't cut it like the OBH and languished in my underwear drawer for years before it went out with some old BVD's........I went through lots of OBH calls over the years and then about 15 years ago they seemed to change. (or maybe it was me?) Since then I've been all over the board and to be honest, I'm not sure what I've got in my vest right now! Never used any tooth picks to separate reeds or rinse/store in mouthwash.......my system works for me, YMMV. Sorry if I'm no help; better luck next time.

That reminds me, my glue is still at his house!

Lets build a bar in 2012taco's garage.............I can get a TV for viewing the game as long as its on 2,4 or 7. 2x4's and OSB sheets...........drywall screws of multiple lengths and we're GTG.

I try not to derail/crap on a thread too often but it's been a couple days. WTH are you fishing out of, a Corvette convertible?
-
Hope you get it straightened out Rob....I wouldn't wish health issues on anyone.

I enjoy the show.......it's pretty cool to see those big bastids hauled into the boat then when they get hoisted up on the crane for pay day. A good cigar and a few beers would make for a fun time while waiting for a hit!
-
I didn't know that.

Oh darn the luck......

I was just curious how this project is progressing..............?? (yes, I do recall you had a heavy schedule jet setting around the country but you have to be home by now)

Boy would I be pissed..........

I wouldn't be surprised if lots of guys would rather not talk about this "on the air" here. The above recommendation for a Liberty or Canon safe is a good one. Insurance with a firearms rider is also a MUST. BOLT BOLT BOLT it down, that can really slow them down from what I've read too. It'd be cool as a cucumber if we could get a smoking deal on a "forum" wide group buy on a high end safe. I'd travel to a western NY drop location for a great deal. Somebody get on that will ya.....................

I'd put a Crimson Trace laser on a Glock 10mm and roll on.............

I'll keep my mud boots in the truck in case I get the call for tracking/dragging/photography help............

Ch 167 AXS on Dish Network has some pretty cool shows I've been DVR'ing. "Rock Legends" and "Classic Albums" are the shows......... The ones that have caught my eye (and ear) are Dire Straights, Fleetwood Mac and the Doors. Some of the shows were produced 10 years ago, some more recent. They reflect back on the early times of the bands; good and bad. Last night I caught the Doors show and learned more about Jim Morrison, man was he a trip! Maybe if you grew up in the 60's, 70's etc you'd enjoy these shows, dial 'em up if you can.

He looks like a bomber....

He and the Mermaid might be visiting his sister & BIL down south right now, I believe. If so, they'll surely be having a good time. The local volunteer fire dept is probably on standby for the lighting of the candles.........
