Selling long guns for a deceased friend.

Unless they are shipped; in that case they must go TO an FFL which is pretty simple. I'm shipping a gun tomorrow to a fellow in Florida, piece of cake. -
Air gunners, grab it while you can

Pyramid doesn't offer that model. I read somewhere that AOA got some special deal on them and was offering them up for $315 plus shipping. They get get pretty good reviews so I thought I'd stick my toe into the water. -

Freaking great.......I kid you not; an hour ago I ordered a HW 95 from Airguns Of Arizona. My luck has GOT to change at some point! Well, it's too late..........what pellets do I try??? (.22 is the caliber I ordered) -
I'm sure I've voiced my displeasure with this system before but I'll say it again. IT SUCKS. Between slow internet yesterday, a system that doesn't recognize mine or my daughter's email addresses and the fact that THEIR system was down this morning for a few hours I've had it. Finally I get a bunch of information imputed and I get to the part where you're supposed to link with the IRS system to automatically put our 1040 info into the FAFSA system and it won't work. It is such a FUBAR system I can't believe it. All I can do is try and call them after work tomorrow.

Better days are coming, I hope.

I had lots of interest, just no money.

How the heck do you expect me to find the things without the scrapped up ground? My nose isn't what it used to be........................

A few days ago the weatherman said 15-25mph winds and rain. Wrong again.................... I think a guy could kill one today, like any day. You need to be in it to win it........ A real good friend and mentor that passed a few years ago in his early 80's killed a sub-compact p/u truck load of gobblers by being THERE. He called awful, lit one match around 5:00am then it was one cigarette after another; lit end to end while sitting on a log. He'd cough, sneeze and yes, fart too. Rare was the year he didn't kill his two birds in NYS and one in Pennsylvania. Being there makes all the difference in the world. I didn't pay attention so well as here I sit, in my easy chair.

Oh boy, you HAD to say it.

Ahh, I see the black one now. So by clipping branches off of hot scrapes, does that put the kibash to any future scrapping of the original spot? You then move that clipped branch to a spot more advantages for an archery shot? I remember you did an article on the subject but I'm foggy on the details.

Nice job! Great to see a project like that get done.

Our old printer croaked a few weeks ago and my laptop is on its last legs so I plunked down the cash for a new set up. MAN do I hate upgrading...................... ASUS and Epson were what I decided on, hopefully they give another 8 years of service like the old Dell and Epson combo. I started out this morning to setup the printer. Figures the damned Verizon DSL was wonky today, I had to power down/up the system three times before it straightened out. Pecking away now from the new rig and printed a couple old emails for a test run. How's your set up working for you?

Ever clean out decades worth of accumulation , in your home ?
Lawdwaz replied to Nomad's topic in General Chit Chat
During my 30 years in business I did many clean out of homes, usually after the death of the homeowner. Some pretty bad ones and a few good ones..................all sad deals though as I know we are all just in it for a very short time. -
Where they're headed? Hell, THEY don't know where they're headed!

Never used one personally.

Cold weather will effect those numbers though won't it?

Probably more deleting than editing.....................

Well done! What's the story, peeping Tom? Probably something boring like a roofer??

It's not about being a camo nut rob, it's about a turkey's keen eye sight. Sometimes even an experienced turkey hunter can't close the deal when a turkey insists on dying, that is frustrating. I started with camo taped guns back in the early 80's then had a matte finished beat up 870 SP Magnum that couldn't scare up a reflection if it was loaded. The gun in question here I've used to kill probably 25 spring gobblers with and a friend used it to a kill a couple too. Killed lots of geese and a few ducks too. I never had the urge to dip/paint/tape it till now. Maybe I need the change?? Regardless, thanks for the alternative.
