Another example of NY becoming a dictatorship. When is doubt add more government oversight. Man if not for my stupid immediate family id be out of here. We continue to be less of a free country everyday. I know I've mentioned this before but if everyone stops buying a license I bet they will listen to us a lot more.

Agreed. I haven't gone in yrs. Last time I took my son we did a walk around and left. Seemed to be mostly a cheesy flea market.

Has anyone seen alot of fawns this yr. I haven't seen one. Ive seen a bunch of doe in the fields with no fawns nor have I seen one dead on the road.

We were camping all weekend at the land and I decided to take a late morning turkey hunt. I was maybe 100yrds into the woods and I walked right up to the right side. Sorry wooly I was to excited to think about taking a pic b4 I grabbed it. I called my dad to tell him I found the biggest shed on the land. Before I hung up I said ill look around for the other side. I took 2 steps to my right and there is the other one. Not only did I have an awesome turkey hunt last weekend I followed it up with these sheds.

So I should stay up? I just checked radar and id guess its maybe an hr out. Always love a good light show as long as the power doesn't go out!!!

Boy am I tired. I was solo today but tomorrow will have all three of us going. Half ways the goal tomorrow!!! Keepin em cold. Getting piles for ya grow!!

Well I spent 5hrs cutting today and it doesn't look like I did much, but I only have a few more trees to drop and all the trees will be down on the one side. So hopefully ill get that done tomorrow. What a great day to be in the woods!!!! With all this firewood piling up were really thinking about selling some maybe by the truck load.

Agreed. I got my back yard plot mostly done Sunday. Earliest I've planted. Hopefully it works out. I have way more work to do on the big plot and didn't wanna mess around circling back to plant later. I have thur and fri off to focus on the big plot project!!!

Thanks it hadn't thought about the roots just yet. Great I got more work to look forward to . And your right its definitely alot of work but the finished product should be something!! I'll do my best to keep my enthusiasm high, I'm more the go big mindset and my dad and brother see it as overwhelming. Having a large food source in the area we hunt should give us quiet an advantage when all said and done.

Well my brother and dad chipped away some more Sunday and I took the wife and son up today. I got about 2hrs of cutting what was already down. Were between a quarter and half way so its getting there for such a big project. I think I'm gonna take a few days off later this month and try and get this mostly done. Fantail ill keep this going all the way thru the project. One of these days ill get my laptop fixed or replaced so I can post pics.

Well we have a yellow and chocolate, so why not a black right? Its something that we toss around every now and then. Keep us posted.

I was thinking about a side by side today as my 6yr old, wife and I rode one 4wheeler back to the f plot project. Little tight!!

That's what I assumed, I think they are a big step up from 4wheelers. My dad keeps mentioning upgrading wheelers and when I mention side by sides he looks at me like I have the heads.

Grow, do u like the gator? Do u find it much more useful and enjoyable than a 4wheeler?

Thanks, I e been feeling like we should have at least one main trail. Could make it alot easier getting firewood out with the truck instead of multiple loads with the wheeler. Well lets add another project to the long to do list!!

For those who have land what's your trail system like? Are your trails mainly 4wheeler friendly or tractor/truck worthy? Just curious on what works for everyone. Ours are only meant for 4wheelers but sometimes think we should widen them for tractor/truck access.

only problem going that high is getting the dang thing up. I threw up a 16ft by myself one yr and almost busted a nut getting up right. Maybe there is a more simple way of doing it.
