Man I saw a few snow flakes this morning. Tonight I saw 4 small bucks hit the field and pushed some doe around.

Man seems so long ago. My dad, older brother and I went to camp. Those two went bow hunting and I slept in. When they came back we had breakfast and I then headed out. I wasn't in the stand 20 min and here comes a 6pt right to my stand. He was so close and I tried to make a noise for him to stop, but it was so loud he ran back out about 15-20yrs broadside. I drew and shot. I think I moved my bow as I was shooting and ended up hitting its back leg. Oh boy I knew were the arrow went but when I got back to camp I told them I shot a buck but didn't see where the arrow hit. After a long track job and loosing hope (he back tracked) he was laying by a pine tree. I think I was 14 yr 1992.

Yikes, back to the drawing board. The good news is you got plenty of time to adjust!! gl

I got so freakin sick the last weekend in sept. I passed everything but a toilet. I finally started to feel better yesterday. Im now excited for the season. Heading to our new 45acre parcel we bought back in Jan!!

No way to avoid a fee but yeah stick with an actual bank atm. Keep an eye out for skimming devices. Thieves' will put a device over where you insert your card. Just grab the piece where you insert your card to make sure it doesn't move before you slide your card in. These things usually will happen over the weekend.

I guess the good news is I can probably find them for cheap at a pawn shop!!

Man its a good thing im not in charge of the rules because they be a whole lot different.

So im in gander mountain with my 6yr old son just looking around. I just got done looking at the t cam as this kid comes over to them. My son takes me a row over to show me a bow he see's. I then notice the kid walking funny towards the bathrooms and I see something stuffed under his shirt. So I start looking around for an employee and I see one walking around. So I go over and tell him what I saw he says thanks and starts talking on his radio. So I went up into the fishing dept to kinda wait and see what happens and I see the kid walking towards the front exit. I hear the manager say can I help you, the kid says no, the manager says are you sure, follows the kid out the door the kid takes off running with 2 new t cams & the manager just watches. I cant believe they didn't just confront him in the store, its amazing they just let you go. Man if I didn't have my son with me I would have freaking Chuck Norris'ed his a@@. Nothing I hate more than a thief.

There just comes a point in life were things that use to be important aren't so much anymore. I did the same thing a couple yrs ago, all excited to upgrade my old hunting cloths. It just wasn't worth it to me to pay that much for hunting cloths. So I've upgraded my hat and gloves.

I picked up a field & stream last fall for like $120 bucks and was a great blind for me and my son (he's only 6 now). To me bigger is always better.

Man I think that would be fun as balls, someday I gotta try it.

I would rather make it tougher and go more primitive and run thru the woods with my wooden bow and arrows and a flapping piece of deer skin covering my parts!!

I set my vacation from Nov 1st thru veterans day. 11 days of straight hunting ohhhh freakin man I cant wait.

I have 3 spots. 1st spot I havent been in since shed hunting, I just have to sneak in to secure my stand and wont hunt it till close till nov. 2nd spot my yard im in all the time. 3rd spot is our new 45 acre piece that's been visited frequently on the weekend and after this weekend wont be touched unless hunted.
