Nice, I saw a bachelor group of 8 bucks at 4:30 today in a soybean field. 4 of them were 120 to 130's.

An I planted BioLogic and haven't been to impressed trying it for the first time. Id go with landtrac idea as your best alt.

Hmm. id say yu missed the window of a successful fall plot. I planted mine a month ago and im worried its not gonna have enough time to mature to its potential.

I will stick to food plots and using my chainsaw for feed!! I never understood people who go bear hunting and sit over a pile of crap waiting for a hungry bear.

Doc, I im glad u mentioned that, there is so much stress on stands when they are attached to different trees. We had a big red oak that split into 4 big trunks. We attached a permanent stand to it only using one of the trucks, had we used 3 or 4 that stand would have been an accident waiting to happen. Lurk maybe look at using the tree that splits into three but try using making it off one. Just a thought.

Im in the process of building a tree stand. Its 6x6 with a 7ft ceiling. For me being 6'5 250 its plenty of room for me and my son. Also has plenty space to draw my bow. I built it on post vs trees.

I've had this cam one yr. When I turn it on it says wait the lock then it goes to the menu to change settings but it wont take a pic. Any idea? I called there customer service an they said to mail it in so I thought id ask before I send it in. Thanks for the help.

Finally got my back yard plot in. I'm interested to see how this blend works. Clover, brassicas, wheat, oat, rye and radishes. Now I just need this fall weather to go AWAY!!

If I don't eat it I'm not shooting it. Ive heard from so many people they wouldn't feed the meat to their dogs. For that reason I'm out!

Grow u must have heard my voices last night. I borrowed my dads jd equipped with bucket and backhoe. So I'm moving a pile of dirt/brush with the bucket I noticed what looked like bumblebees, I turned it off jumped an ran. Luckily I didn't get stung, I did however manage to disturb a yellow jacket an bumble bee nest. Bee spray and gas did the trick and I got the tractor moved with no hassle, have no idea how I didn't get stung.

I'd like to add a small pond in our back yard. I swear I heard that you could get funding for habitat improvement. Any one have any knowledge on this?
