A vette or something more exoctic than my pontiac g8 is in my future 3 year plan. Even still, it's hard to sell the bike when the most I'd get is $3k and it doesn't take up a bunch of space. idk... If I could 1 for 1 swap my crotch rocket for a cruiser I would. I love to rip now and then, but would much prefer a nice comfortable ride at this stage of my life. But I dont ride enough or want one bad enough that I'd sell the rocket then dump money into a new bike. Will see where life takes me, maybe someday when the kids are older. best I ever did was around 140 too. On the 219 on the way to sunset beach down in Irving. Back pre-kids when the wife would ride on the back. The wife, mom and dad do not like the bike for all the reasons everyone else has given them up. I don't even disagree with their opinion. But post college not many people have ever been able to tell me what to do. I'm also not a wheelie stereotypical crotch rocket rider though.... but i do ride like an ass sometimes.

that deer will be a freak in the fall. wow.

this is my first... 6 years ago. I now have 3. I say plan for the future!

i don't have the heart to sell her. I used to ride a ton, then less and now maybe a dozen or so times a summer is all. It's enough to scratch the itch and worth the small price of insurance as she owes me nothing

everytime i see this thread pop back up i go check craigslist... ugh. it's not the right time for us as a family and I just have to be patient, but damn I want a boat. Dont care if it's old and ugly as long as it runs lol.

not sure on the ford, but it wasn't too bad of a job on my old 03 silverado. Hardest part was getting the fan to break free but there are tools and tricks to doing it.

Recommend a great place to eat in Rochester area

if you're ok with a good burger and some flights of beer it's a good time. But if you're right in that the menu is limited outside of that. Cool vibe though. -
I remember replacing my water pump on my grandprix in the dark of my apartment complex with just a a basic craftsman socket set in the dead of winter. Coolant everywhere, hands bright red and frozen. Another 30 minutes added because I had to work with the tools I had. Then I started making more money and bought a house and had a nice garage to fix things in. Now I just replace cars every 5 years haha. I do miss tinkering on a motor though, so now I just buy performance parts.

well there's your problem. If we've learned anything the last few weeks it's that all coyotes are horrible and must be eradicated.

you know him?

is that how Ford owners justify it?

Political humor
Five Seasons replied to Water Rat's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
that's wrong, but I'd lie if I didn't laugh -
I would never say anything is impossible. My only goal in these 12 pages has been to educate on some misconceptions. I'm a deer and amateur coyote hunter. I have no horse in this race. Just simply feel that an educated outdoorsman is a better outdoorsman and a stronger advocate against the anti's.

I enjoy mowing. I can do my lawn on a rider in about 30-40 minutes. I'm outside in fresh air and not listening to my spawn screaming about some dumb sh!t. I too miss mowing and a nice cold beer and cigar followed shortly thereafter. I do not enjoy snow blowing one bit.
-
So now these coyotes are just like wolves? No airedale, the issue is on one side of this discussion is a single persons anecdotal evidence. On the other side you have research study after research study. So I guess you're right, you can lead a horse to water. Here's another new one for you. Gosh this science stuff is hard. https://www.themeateater.com/conservation/wildlife-management/study-eastern-whitetails-thrive-despite-coyote-invasion
-
oh man now that's rich. I don't get the problem with just admitting you want to shoot coyotes. They're invasive, taking out a few doesn't hurt their population. You don't need to justify it. Why'd you shoot that coyote? Because it's legal and I wanted to should all there needs to be. If you're not for want and waste, skin it out and get it tanned.

LIVE From The Woods 2019 - Lets hear stories and see some pictures!
Five Seasons replied to fasteddie's topic in Deer Hunting
I was hoping the past few days of bad weather and some fresh sunshine would bring them out, but I could quickly see that even the branches near the nests were still covered. I guess that's why they stockpile their food haha. Even if they were out it'd have been tough. Every few seconds a branch would drop ice and snow and sounded almost identical to those buggers scurrying around some branches. -

Most of the squirrels were not out today and with the melt it was almost impossible to see and hear anything, but a great hike in the woods and a little cabin fever cured. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
how and why would someone who is breaking the trespassing law also decide they should follow the orange law? its the same dumb argument as the back tag regs.

i was thinking of doing a morning sit, then a walk for some squirrels but tomorrow looks cold as all hell. i'll be inside for sure
