    really? instant ban with no warning? I've seen a lot worse let slide without so much as a slap on the wrist. fwiw, I think the pic and post is what struck some, not the actual taking of a legal deer. We've probably all done it. I know I have.

    Don’t buy a cabelas or dedicated outdoorsman model. Just get a food saver and be done. If you can wait, there are some great holiday deals. I actually upgraded mine last year to a model that has the bad slider built in. Well worth the added cost even if I don’t use some of the other features. I have the fm5460 for $119, which can retail for over $200. They can be finicky, but when you get the process down, they’re great. Check out there holiday deals on the rolls too.     Just saw the update. Sounds like a guy who has used fear and intimidation his whole life to get his way, knowing other non-land owners had no legal recourse against him. If he is wise and cagey, he knows when he’s beat and now that the land is legally owned by someone who doesn’t want him there, he accepted the end of a good run.     I’m an engineer. I do just fine with math. Philosophically speaking a lot of hunters will disagree with brown it’s down, But that’s philosophically speaking not legally speaking. I sat this morning. My grandfather passed late Thursday. So I was in the woods for some therapy. It’s not all about killing for me. I saw a doe, doe fawn, big button and a nice 8.
