Back in the olden days there was such a law but it was done away with at least @20 + years ago. Now there are rules around transporting meat, say I give steve863 a package of meat it would have to be labeled with my info, what type of meat it is, his name and the date it was cut up for him to transport it. Once you cut and wrap the meat and stuff it in the freezer you don’t need the tag any more. But I guarantee people will say you need to save tags etc ect. Once it is ready for consumption you are good to go. If you then decide to give some away you would then have to do the labeling ect.

Well if they didn’t they couldn’t argue their opinions on taste lol. After looking at the what’s for dinner thread I realize not everyone has the same taste as to what’s good. I’m with you Larry, and I find it a bit odd guys don’t like venison and are hunting but at least someone gets their meat out of the deal.

How bout staying on topic. My post was not trolling, it was questioning how he could possibly pass judgement given his other comments. You choose to try and attack me and it didn’t work out for you. Now back on topic of passing judgement.

My youth forgot his boots by the front door today. He felt bad as did I but it happens and I bet he won’t forget again. We did do some scouting on the way home and located a flock in a spot near home so it wasn’t a loss.

What about putting sponges in sausage casings with bacon grease rubbed on it to kill coyotes what is that teaching the next generation of hunters? Had a hen come to our first set. Moved and located the birds from the am. They moved off and we reset in the sun so the kid can warm up.

Had a large flock gobbeling on the roost now they are broken up. We have one interested but we’ll see. Trying to stay patient. Man it’s cold.
