  1. 358 Win in my new BLR. Open sights and lite. Can’t wait to carry it and smash one.
  2. I have some trees that had it and dropped some leaves already. Less to clean up come fall.
  3. Drought and sometimes from Sqautch breath. Tough to tell from a photo.
  4. I recommend bricks or stone meant for fires or lining the pit in fire brick or a metal ring even. I did the round pit but didn’t use fire rated stuff and it disintegrated in about a year or two of good fires. We have had a few fires this year, just haven’t taken pics. Been a decent summer until the humidity cranked up recently. Man am I sad we aren’t going to Maine this year, sighhhhhh. Instead when I miss it I scan the realtor app for land and camps/houses for sale up there.
  5. If I was near you I’d set up my pigeon trap and use the birds for dog training. But I’m on the other side of the state. Bummer
  6. Pfft I could do better with a walk behind tiller and a jet sled weighed down with chicken feed for a cultipacker. Not bad for an amature huh? Lol I already have sprouts so I’m happy, I made it bigger than I thought though but that was nothing that another bag of seed didn’t fix.
  7. Salmonrun knows a thing or three about labs and training. Drop him a pm and I bet he’d be happy to share some info. As to what to expect to spend, that depends on what you want to do. It’s adds up quick. Congrats on the new pup!
  8. I have all a row boat a canoe and a kayak. Row boat Is most stable with the most room, canoe is second and kayak third. If you look long enough you can catch a deal on a canoe, kayak not as much and row boat not likely under $500. Canoes are loadable for one person with a Jeep as well as kayaks. All that said I would opt for a canoe if I were you. Buy a stadium fold up seat with a back rest and enjoy. I lucked out recently on a Grumman Eagle with four paddles for $150. Good luck!
  9. That’s a steal at that price. Wish you were closer
  10. What about a can of compressed air for cleaning a keyboard, that might do the trick.
  11. Usually it’s from select breeding and what’s called line breeding which is inbreeding. It is a practice common in animal husbandry.
  12. Where does a bear go on vacation? Whereever the heck he wants!
  13. And for the record I half agree with FSW and the nuge. I think it’s over blown. Is it a good thing, no. Is it the end of the world, hell no.
  14. Nugent owns a couple game farms that offer fenced hunts so it should be no surprise what his opinion is. FSW must be torn apart about Nuge because he supports a dove season. Hahahaha
  15. Good luck finding a good compact tractor for under 4K, they hold their value and are hard to find. I got a Cub Cadet XT 3 last year which is their biggest mower, it’s built like a tank and has no problems pulling heavy loads and a small disc. It’s over 4K though.
  16. I grew up with the Kaderosseras creek as my back yard and spent much of my youth on it or it. Good times, so many memories are flashing back now. I remember having a sweet Crome played six shooter that one of my cousins dropped in a clogged toilet. Ruined the thought of owning a pistol the rest of my life. Basterds.
  17. The older ones I know were built to last, my dad had one that saw lots of use for 35 years. His was an econo horse I think. The motor finally went and he was unable to repair it or replace it because of the odd set up so he bought a Cub Cadet. The Cub seems wimpier but still gets the job done.
  18. You might want a larger one, that would take a while to do an acre. Look used too. I recently found a lil one like that for $75 at a garage sale and scooped it up for work around the house.
  19. There’s a member or two that should have this done because they are so full of shit. I like the name name of some of the drinks, “Go lightly” and “Blast”. Hahahaha
  20. Check out 29268 Rt 11, Evans Mills, NY hell of a house that he considered one of the finer things in life. Lets not forget that Fsw cheats by feeding the deer and using minerals. That devalues any deer he kills in my book.
  21. I’d rather have a kennel and breed dogs, my buddy that was just in town recently had several litters going that totaled up to 41 dogs. 41X$1600 a pup=$65,600. Not bad for 8 weeks of work and you get the added bonus of not having buck stuff on your hands like FSW. That’s not counting the rest of the year and fees for training the new owners dogs. The best part is they sell the females and keep them in the program as co-owned so they don’t have to pay to feed and care for them. Then there are stud fees, don’t have to leave home and the dogs do their business. Imagine that, there are other ways to make money that don’t require fences and worrying about CWD.
  22. I have a local flock pinned down but decided to let them go, I’d rather have more birds next year than a chance at killing one this year. Darn good late season spot too, it had more birds each day over the last week. Had a good season, plenty of gobbles and birds and took a jake with a buddy. Tonight a neighbor stopped by with a box of turkey stuff for my boy, the guy that he got it from is 85 and done hunting so he wanted to pass it on to a young guy. Damn nice gesture and the calls are somewhat unique and sound real good.
  23. I like this better than the alligator owl.
  24. I owned a bike or four but got out of riding a couple years after having my daughter in ‘08. During my days I would ride with one other guy and that was it, I rode with others a couple of times and didn’t trust any of them. They were the type described above, dangerous, stupid and entitled. I never sped on my crotch rockets I swear, even though I had the fastest one going from 99 to 2006 or 7. Some days I miss it but most I do not. The most dangerous riders are the ones that drag their bikes out once or twice a year and think they are pros and the type of bike doesn’t matter. I’ll see them next week around here for Americade.
  25. The term used for passengers sometimes is “riding bitch”, I think it fits in your scenario quite well. Lol
