Well that was for the wife. I don't mind it though. I think it's just the ones that resemble straight up coffee like your burly beard stout, common roots coffee cup, etc that dont really float my boat. Browns isnt bad either. Theres more but aren't coming to me. The unique stouts TF has posted I know I've had and were decent for my pallet. Idk. Just know what I like I guess. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

now the real problem is not blowing through them and willing myself to drink other beer in the fridge. which the selection is cigar city cubano espresso ale, juice bomb, sam anytime ipa, and brown's hashtag series ipa. some others but it's not coming to me. i guess you could say i try to stay stocked.

it's what they do. no excuses. i hate dealing with dealerships i have no use for them. next vehicle i'll pay for in cash and then that's the last they'll see of me. lol it's unbelievable how much they jerk around or BS the average customer. if they don't you're getting robbed blind.

sometimes if you setup multiple hens put them into a triangle pointed away from you but make sure theyre spaced far enough apart but not too far. want room for a big beard to strutt right in the middle of them and right in your face but not feel cramped or they'll hangup, gobble, and walk away from you expecting the hens to follow or move.
-
forget foam they look ridiculous and often deformed. go with rubber, fake feather decoys, or i suppose if you've got a money tree in your backyard a mount. one thing that helps is a real dried fan on full fan strutter decoys. also use an art brush and paint clear coat on the eyes to make them glossy if they aren't.

depends on the time of season or early morning vs late morning. early mornings and especially early in the season (less pressured and less green growth) it's multiple hens with maybe one submissive with full fan or jake next to it all in plain view from a ways off. late mornings with lots of beards in the area i go with a full fan in a known strutting area and hope a boss comes in to dish it out. less beards is usually a lone hen. jake only used with hen, never alone. late mornings and especially late May i go with a single hen decoy. if there's enough beards around a submissive hen with jake. good practice too for late season pressured birds if you're using decoys is to have a setup that makes the birds come in blind with the decoys pulling them past you and off to the side. decoys on a left for right handed shooter with a hard turn to get to them so you can cover the birds coming in if the hang up a bit. otherwise it's not decoy but lay of the land can kill your efforts and make birds skirt you or hangup.

smart idea at your own camp. eliminates the need for people to police themselves which doesn't always fair too well.

i wouldn't. i donated once to the PBA. next i know they and others were calling me several times a night asking for more. you want to donate just call up the local PD and ask how you can help.

just searched ....thoroughly. maybe by multiple officers. not necessarily at the same time though so you should be fine.

forget some of them are probably getting sh&^ tanked and then getting behind the wheel.

blew my mind some comments on facebook. people saying what i do on my land is none of your business. what the *&^% does that have to do with this? in all honesty it does if first responders get called. i can see if you're nursing a beer and hanging out but if you're multiple beers in and especially legally intoxicated you're asking for trouble.

Next up Nightmare Brewing's quadruple dry hopped imperial ipa. Wife doesnt even like ipa's and she says it's the best beer she's ever had. Haha I'm dieing. Idk if she drunk or serious ...or likely both. I think its very tropical on aroma that hits you even from the pour. Nice new England ipa but with a very nice and crisp hoppiness from dry hop. finish has a subtle sharp bite but real manageable bitterness even if not an ipa fan. Very easy drinking. Jdubs kept making me rethink not getting this stout so I made some calls and barely had a 4 pack reserved for me. Nightmare Scaphism is a serious stout. Roasted favor with cacao but not strong on coffee. Dangerous and real good. Wife kickin with a good buzz from hers. Haha Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I almost got that picking up nightmare. Already shelling out some coin though. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

i'm open to whatever. haven't bought a new crossbow because i'm waiting to see what happens to the restrictions. -
@grampy first shoot of the year for NEBA is this Saturday. More after that. Check the schedule and let's meet up. Anyone else in the area be advised send PM on here and let's go shoot! Couple more groups north and south of capital region too. I'll have to watch for their schedules. Best first shots on 30 targets kind of practice out there. I'll have to step it up to keep up with Dave though. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

i'd use it if i had it but some stands i don't use a light. others it's a red light pointed at the ground. climbing into the stand i have a pet peeve to do so quietly and as slow as feasible. topography and cover can't help shield you anymore when hanging off the side of tree. if i'm alerting every living thing in the woods when i walk in i'm doing something wrong. i will give it to you that i try to get there before the deer. sometimes especially mornings it's hard though. hunting over an evening food plot when i'm leaving with deer still out there, i don't want that making noise either. to each their own i guess. -
you like Dinner better?

movement isn't bad if it's slow and deliberate. cocking a crossbow manually isn't all that loud and only a slight click from the ones i've used. no movement at all is good if you've gotten the attention of a deer though i'll give you that. watching the video the hiss sound seemed to be at least as loud as the him talking. i really try not to make that much noise getting into my stand. just my opinion, i'm not bringing something like that which makes that kind of hissing sound into the woods with me to kill deer. -

that's my point can't walk in prior to legal light cocked as a cocked crossbow is considered loaded. also there's spots where i really can't be making noise especially when i can't see if a deer is watching me or not in the darkness. i've gotten on stand only to have deer bedded not far away. some stands are intentionally close to known bedding too. last light or first light is all the same if your where the deer are. -
just 3? done.

the steam/air let out by the valves. seemed to be louder than his voice talking. design is cool though for recreational shooting. -

very cool design. can't see using that in the deer woods though pretty loud. -
Nice buck. Good mount too. Hate to say as usual but yea. Not a mediocre one posted yet from my view. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
