Open to Recurve, long or Compound Bows! It would be fun to shoot with some HuntingNY members!

I only picked 8 because it is my "lucky #". But I was reading on OMM Outfitters website that you can trade tags in one zone to another and also trade cow tag for bull tags with an upcharge.

I am in for the ride!

Thanks, I picked October 11-16, WMU 8 for first choice, and no preference for remaining units. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

When is the ideal time to go? Late October?

Wolc, your take REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE to a whole ‘nother level!

I started out with a glove, but switched to a tab and like that a lot more. Just fits my hand better and release seem intuitive. I have not picked up on shooting instinctive yet. I ended up going with gap shooting, mostly because it made sense when I started. I’ve been told instinctive will come along eventually. It is fine on a paper targets indoors, but it is harder on 3D targets outside. I shoot with a few guys weekly in an unofficial indoor league, they have all shot for several years. I am proud to say I am not in last place, and my average has gone up every week so far. Practice is the answer to any issue you have.

Lewis Point Parking lot was full even at 1pm. Luckily someone was leaving as I came in. I was at 20’ at the start and had 0 marks, so I moved to 30’ and had marks and a fish. Died off so I moved around again, ended back at original spot to finish. Another fish. Very slow with seeing fish and even harder to get them to bite. Very tight lipped and scared of any movement. But had a great day, went alone and played tunes all afternoon. Had lunch at Flo’s Diner. Easy walk out and back.

Gorgeous afternoon on Oneida Lake, Lewis Point. Slow fishing, but good for the soul. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Looks really nice! Great work! What are you doing on the ceiling for a finish?

Nice combo, I’m sure it was delicious!

Congrats Jerry!! I can't imagine any job being worth a 160 mile daily round trip!

There is usually a baseball card show in Syracuse - been cancelled due to covid, but now that things are opening slightly they may have it again. https://anyshowpromotions.com/ I used to know the guy that ran it, but can't think of his name at the moment.

I felt yesterday was the absolute perfect winter day! Lots of fresh snow, cold weather, lots of sunshine! Just about as perfect of a day as you could want! Even while plowing and snowblowing, I was just so happy to be outside! I even was able to drag my wife, sister and BIL outside for a nice long snowshoe hike in the snow. I can't wait for this Saturday, should be 10 degrees, clear skies and a full moon, perfect conditions for a midnight snowshoe hike! I love spring, summer and fall too. But a day like yesterday is one of my favorites! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

That exact thing happened to me years ago at Hooters! I finally convinced my wife that the wings were pretty good. She got a good laugh out of it!

Yes, I guess it was back there. It’s gone now! I’m sure it would taste delicious with backstrap, but there are so many other things to make with that prime piece of meat, I just would not have the gall to do it now. I actually made this batch for a friend of ours that would come to our Annual Super Bowl party. I would always have a couple of game dishes for people to try. This year she sent a text and said the main thing she would miss this year was my Venison Chili. So she is getting a few servings tomorrow.

I do have a target set up in the basement at 10 yards. Since I joined an afternoon indoor league I just shoot there once a week now. I will have a 3D and bag target set up when the weather breaks, and I may actually set up a tree stand in my backyard to practice from as well. Nothing wrong with wanting to learn as much as possible!

Hunters Favorite Chili from a Time/Life cookbook. It was the first game recipe I ever cooked and I have stuck with it for almost 30 years. My Father in law gave me a backstrap and I had no clue, so I chopped it up into bite size pieces and took it from there. Now I know better, this was made from stew pieces. 7 from Tree House in the background, the last of my niece's Xmas gift to me. Not pictured is my wife's homemade Honey Cornbread. I'm stuffed and very happy, may crack a new bottle of bourbon later! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I think she has bigger prizes in mind -
That looks good. We had cauliflower rice. Not picture worthy at all.

Just kidding.... Not in Camden, although I love that little town. I like the diner on the Main Street, on the left as you are going north..... great pancakes.
