First shot today at 25 yards Tacks, would it be a good idea to post all my broken arrows too? One night I broke 4 arrows from misses. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

This afternoon I shot from a treestand for the first time, 20 yards away. These were from a standing position. Different lane. Still 20 yards, this time from a sitting position. Not as good, need to work on that. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Crappy ice, I have never made that as a filling, but have made a similar Bolognese sauce with no tomatoes. If you are using it as a ravioli stuffing, personally I would not add cheese, just the meat stuffing. Finish it with a brown butter sage sauce and that sounds very elegant and tasty!

Took only a few shots tonight. This one was 20 yards. Next shot ( no pic) was 25 and just to the right of it. Third shot was 30 yards and I shot under it. So I went back to 20 and had three good ones in a row. My deer will need to be inside 25 yards for me to shoot. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Happy Birthday!

Grandpy, We went to that game yesterday. Perfect day other than the loss. The crowd was quite vocal when they blew the game in the 8th. No offense always hurts too. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Finally had the Jai Alai on draft this past weekend, it was quite good! But how do you pronounce it? Is it “Jay All-ee”?

You’re never to old to learn something new! Good Luck and I hope you get a great deer!

Makes sense. I was rushing a bit because there was only about 20 minutes of decent light out. Thanks.

This plot was planted 2 weeks ago with winter rye and chicory. I wish it would rain. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

How can my first shot be spot on and follow up shots be off? Frustrating! Hopefully first shot is really the shot. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Another lefty here! I’m think of getting the Beretta A400 in LH. Not to derail, but anyone have any experience with this gun?

Looks like electric fence holders. Were they in a straight line?

Just finished spraying 2 more plots that I plan to put winter rye on. It’s very rocky and the soil is not great, so going to build it up for a few years. Going to try to put together 2 tree stands somewhere in the shade. There is a nice breeze, so as long as I’m not moving too hard or too fast, it’s not horrible. Definitly planning on a nap sometime today too.

Hope recovery is on it’s way and quick!

Two guys went out hunting early one morning but by noon had not seen a thing. One of the men went behind a tree to relieve himself when a rattle snake bit him on his manhood. He screamed at his friend to quick run back to the truck, drive to town and bring back the doctor. His friend took off as fast as he could. He found the only doctor at the hospital and told him to come quick, his friend had been snake bit ! The doctor said he couldn’t leave as there had just been a bus wreck and that patients would soon be coming in. The doctor told the man to make a small cut at the bite and suck out the poison and then bring him in. The man goes back to the woods to his friend who is bewildered not to see the doctor. He explained the doctor couldn’t leave because of the bus accident. His friend said “well what did the doctor say?”His friend replied “The doctor said your going to die !”

Some recent shots. Still need to get up in a tree or in a blind, shoot with hunting clothes on, and shoot with a broadhead instead of a field point. . Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Tried threading the shot between some trees, worked out pretty good. 20 yards again. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Local manhunt - What do you defend your home with?
Otto replied to Jdubs's topic in General Chit Chat
For those in the household that don’t want a firearm, a can of bee spray that shoots out 20’ can be very effective. -
That’s my favorite way to eat the corned venison! That and the corned hash you made too.

New target, good first shot! (25 yards) Follow ups needed improvement......only hit target zone 50% of the time from 25 and 20 yards. 15 was spot on. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Very sorry for your loss Rob.

Lots of good advice here, and I do appreciate it.
