Nice, Jerry...Who does your taxi work ?
-
Tough to win at that game....Both players are nuts and the referee is a prick.....
-
Hehehehe...Besides that, if a snake got in and ate a chicken or an egg, he wouldn't be able to get back OUT.... Then ADK could chop him up and use him for chicken feed...Hehehe...
-
Nice brown...Is that a stream fish or a lake/lake run fish ?
-
I have never seen a chicken coop that snakes COULD'NT get into... Never considered it an issue....<<<smile>>.....

Do you want to hear something SAD, Jerry ?? I have lived in the area all my life and have never visited either the Glenn Curtiss museum, OR The Rockwell Museum...<<sigh>>... Perhaps I'll remedy that situation this summer... I also need to meet a couple of local members of this forum face to face, yourself included.. I met a member and his lovely wife today and enjoyed it immensely...Real nice folks.... -

Rob....What caliber is your M99, and what model is your Winchester semi shotgun ?.... -
I'm fixing mine...Planning to go perching on Keuka tomorrow..
-
I can drop one off at the local landfill transfer station, but they charge me $25 to do it....
-
Nice job....And in the off season you could rent it out to two or three families of Mexicans...
-
Perhaps a "fanny cam" would be more appropriate....Hehehe...

I think your daughter's roomy should insist that the landlord clean the sheets....

Mountain lion is supposed to be very good....I've been waiting for one of the locals that hang out at the bar in legion and claim to see and hear mountain lions on a regular basis to shoot one so I could try it, but nobody has brought any in yet...
-
No, I have not...However I have always had plenty of private land to shoot on.. I have hunted several parcels of state land and have not seen any such signs. However I suspect it is not an issue here, since most locals have access to private land to shoot on and there are also several gun clubs in the area where people can shoot..

The B&L scope is good glass and the BLR is a quality rifle.. However, for that price you can buy a very accurate bolt action rifle with a good trigger ( Ruger, Savage, etc) and a decent scope and have enough $$ left over for some ammo.. The 30-06 will essentially double the effective range of your 30-30 and you have a multitude of factory loads to choose from.... Good luck, Tommy.....

I have seen fresh bear tracks in January and February....
-
I'd expect bears to be up and about in March most years.... COOL picture !!

Welcome aboard, Pilgrim !! I'm sure glad I don't have to type your username...Mind if I call you JOE ??...<<grin>>.....

Looking for a compact point/shoot digital camera
Pygmy replied to Pygmy's topic in General Chit Chat
Does my flip phone do that ?? I don't have one of those new fangled fancy ass things that kids always have stuck in their faces.. Moot point now anyhow..I am accepting bugsnbows generous offer...... -
My Canon digital camera **** the bed after ten years..Paid $150 for it 10 years ago so I guess it doesn't owe me a whole lot.. I am looking a lower priced , compact point and shoot digital cameras to replace it... I am not a photo buff and don't need a lot of fancy features..I just want a small, easy to use camera that takes decent snapshots.. I see that there are a number of them in the $100 range that get decent reviews..Anybody have experience with the Sony DSC-W800 ? I'd appreciate any input from y'all....

It's tough enough catching trout on bait under these conditions....Tougher with flies...I fished worms this morning for about 3 hours in very confined water that I am intimately familiar with, and I only had 3 hits... I concur with Real on the bouncing...This time of the year, if you're not ticking bottom, you're not fishing where the fish are..

I have hunted them paying a trespass fee....GREAT fun, but it would be tough to do it spot and stalk with a bow or even a handgun...We were rifle hunting... We paid somewhere around $700 apiece for 3 days of hunting....LOTS of critters and we shot some really nice 14-15 inch bucks....We booked the hunt through Butch Mannasse Hunting Adventures...I can get the exact hunt # from John Tschantre, or you could email/call Butch and tell him what you'd like to do and he could suggest a hunt hat would work for you... If you want I could probably dig out some pictures and meet you at the Legion to shoot the breeze...
